I have a brother that works with crystal laurel as elevator engineer who moved to OMAN 2YRS ago on same arrangement, it has never been the same .That was the best decision he ever made, they already gave him residence permit and he can move back and forth. Who are the people you will be working with? When you say you were interviewed by hr - were you interviewed by any actual technical person? Normally in interviews the person you will be working with will interview you to access your competence and ability.

If you didn't have any form of technical interview that means it is laborer job they have set up for you. No one is going to hire an electrician without ascertaining their level of competence

Seeing the posts it is obvious why Nigerians keep getting into horror stories.

All people need is the semblance of a job abroad and they jump on it without taking any time to think it through.

The middle East is a dangerous place, especially if you are from a third world country and more especially if you are being employed in a blue collar job.

My Advice please don't go, if Saudi can offer you a job i believe other developed countries can as well but the difference is the west guarantee you generational future but not in most arab Islamic countries. NOT IN SAUDI. I can break it down further if required.

Your salary is about $930 and this will not be taxed but however there is 15% vat on every other thing.

I think you will leave a good life here since accommodation and transportation is sorted.
Saudi has better schools, hospital, security and organised system.

We have a lot of Nigerians (Christians and Muslim) in different fields here. Remember to carry alot of Nigerians food when coming.

I have been here for 3 years and it's worth the move.

Dashed me $2000 recently. That should tell you his levels. DASH..not lent. It was my house he stayed to collect his work visa from the Saudi embassy (already done by the company) abd to take his flight out of Naija.

Please move to Saudi. My girlfriend is a nurse there and moved this year. From her experience, I will advice you to carry your bag osiso and go there. Marriage will come later, there are so many Nigerians there Christians too

Looking at economics of scale, you'd be better off elsewhere than KSA. Look towards Canada.

Like I said earlier the pay is small, however, since you are still single you can give it a short and if you do, my candid advice is fir you ti start saving from day one towards moving to Europe or north America.
I am giving you advice as someone that has similar experience.
As per the job since u did series of interview I can tell you it is almost legit and yes your contract will be renewed but u need to look at bigger future and start planning your exit from day one.

Move to Saudi Arabia... It's one of the country that doesn't tax salary, so you're potentially looking at earning equivalent of 3-4 years Nigerian salary in 1 year of working in Saudi Arabia... Plus the new experience will boost your experience and CV a lot and will give you a lift if you want to travel to Europe from there. I doubt if you will want to after the experience.

Just ensure you give the job your 100%... Do you work well please...

As for marriage, make sure you marry someone with at least a bachelor's degree... No go look yansh and breast take choose wife o else you will regret your life. And yes, you can come back to marry in 2 years, if there's hope of you retaining the job for more years, and from there you can easily move to Canada/Germany/UK.

I don't need to tell you about Tinubu and the damage he's going to cause the country and how that will affect whatever income you think you are earning now in Nigeria.

Run while you still can but make sure the job is legitimate before making your final decision. No go quit your job now only to find out the job is a scam. If possible take a 2-3 weeks leave from your Nigeria job and go resume in SA. If everything is legit, send your resignation letter from there.

Lol... You need not say. Most of them are dumb stvpid entities. However, it already resides in some of their karmas to get into trouble, or rather that the universe use them to keep the balance. That's why they remain stubborn and pig headed, without research, knowledge or assurance of where they wanna leap into, yet these folks claim to have formal education.
