Our home grown natural foods that we normally eat are called organic abroad. These foods are the most expensive abroad while the modified ones are pretty cheap. In Nigeria ..it is the reverse ...we pay top price for modified apples ... beef ...chicken etc ..the foods that flies and insects totally ignore. This guy is buying natural or organic foods ... so he has to pay top dollar. Maybe he just walked into a Natural Foods Supermarket and thinks it's just another common supermarket where he would be paying wayyy less for the same products....but of a wayyy inferior qualify. |

We can choose to learn ...or continue spitting ignorance. As some pointed out before....with evidence...the minimum wage in the US is $7.25 per hour.... the least you can pay an employee anywhere in the US.( A few exceptions apply). Each State can decide to set their own minimum wage ...but it must not be less.(Exceptions apply). Many States have raised their minimum wages to various amounts above $7.25 ...for the State of New York... it's $15 per hour . |

The solution is agriculture but efforts and resources have been diverted from agriculture to tech, media and war for money forgetting that sufficient food production will eliminate most of the problems in the world today, Same issue has been transferred to Nigeria and Africa, GenZ has abandoned Farm for TikTok , YouTube and Tech money, who is going to produce your food ? it’s not like we embrace mechanized farming, neither is manna falling from the sky, practically we still import highest percentage of our food and this have implications on the value of our Naira too |

If you run into a store for just pepper, you can't come out with nothing less than $50 in that tiny single plastic bag. |

You can't find $2 eggs anywhere, not even the white eggs. Regular brown eggs start from $4 and the organic around $7. Kobojunkie: |

I have to see that to believe it. Though I no longer get food at Walmart, but that's too cheap for even white eggs. I saw white eggs today at Aldi and they were $3.99/dozen, and Aldi is supposed to be the cheapest grocery store with almost everything you need within reach. Kobojunkie: |

Thunderfayamods:And where in my comment did I say someone pays $400,000 per hr? That is how people end up in endless useless arguments. You go and import information from elsewhere that has nothing to do with the post you quoted. It is important to specify it is national (or federal) minimum wage because minimum wage across states are different. Some states adopt the federal minimum wage, but most states don’t. I am only saying if you must correct, provide accurate information. If you say minimum wage is $7.25, that is incomplete information that may mislead. |

HitRun:You started the new year with useless comment and inability to comprehend. You are obviously not following the thread you just jumped from nowhere to show yourself! The moniker @Alakoriomo said that minimum wage is $400,000 per hour. My question to you was in reference to what he said! I never said that you made the comment. Unfortunately you cannot understand because like I said you just jumped into the thread. Yes federal minimum way is $7.25 but some states pay more like you said. Again tell me who pays $400,000 per hour in America? |
