WHICH EXPERTS. there is now lower or zero importation of finished petroleum products, which was a major driver for naira free fall. No rockets science here. PMS Price and Naira will continue to appreciate as the country embraces production. Mind you, production should be in all sectors to get greater effect. |

Nigeria is akin to a criminal enterprise. Experts have said crude price would drop to $60 this year as against it present price of about $84. What would Nigeria government do to make sure the poor man never gains the benefits of this? They will equalise the price by causing willful depreciation of Naira. E.g A barrel today is $84=84x1540= 129360 If the crude drops to $60 the government will depreciate naira to 2156. |

When prices falls to pre Tinubu era, that's when we will notice the reforms then when it falls below that we will appreciate the reforms and acknowledge its working, not all this hand adjusted indices according to the wish of the emperor or whatever he intends to achieve, we are getting closer to elections now,he will try to be nice, and change to his wicked ways after the elections but it will not work for the olodo president |

MasterJayJay:Right. But I think the fundamentals are better this time. If all those refineries work, we'll be spending less on PMS importation, may even achieve zero importation. That'll save a lot of forex. Remittances are also getting better. Then there's increasing crude oil output. Many state govts are paying attention to agric, that should mean less food import and better pricing also. |

If you have not been able to solve the issue of the dwindling floating naira on an import based economy, Then you should first of all do your best to forget all these propaganda and focus on the real deal. This shit___ you keep broadcasting here wont work, even in 7000 years! IMF and world bank first checks what the nation is offering and if there is Nothing, i wonder what would make the naira stronger We keep saying "West is this, West is that, West is killing africa" The same West No day bother Botswana, South africa, Namibia and North African nations? Even if na Ammunition and war drums, and whatever you have , export am first! 1.) Open the borders and make Nigeria an EXPORT BASED economy like China, and let whoever is buying any commodity from us, buy with the naira! We would not throw away the USD, but Yes, let the Naira be a sought after currency. They should choose to buy with either the USD or the Nigerian naira. The more its being sought, the more the value. 2.) The loans you have collected, use it to Enforce Establishment of Farms, industries etc. Then Let individuals apply to become CEOS and Chairmen of companies. Then you Closely monitor the Progress of the companies and Demand ROI after a period of years. Then later on own the companies personally and remit taxation to government. Also Whoever is coming into the country to setup a business, should be wary of taxations in this Light too. Upon balancing, a cut down on Taxations should follow suit. 3.) Mandate that the made in Nigeria products meet up to standard before you export anything out to Nations, and make sure target nations include US, Taiwan, That useless China and some other making sense nations. 4.) Make business connections, as chairman of ECOWAS, force business around your sister nations and other African nations. 5.) Declare currency redundancy, and redecimalise your currency OR Establish a new currency. 6.) Use Liechtenstein as case study. Find a way to let people bring in Money into the nation, and surcharge a fee in the Form of tax, and let it go into the government account, possibly profits be used in the establishment of more companies. The more the companies, the more the services, the more the use of the naira, the more the scarcity, the most the value! 7.) The Ghanaian Cedis and South African Rand are in the World Currency Market, why is Nigerian naira not there? Why not find a way to have it there? If they can sort this 7 things, Nigeria would be a better place, Not Propaganda in the morning , Propaganda in the afternoon, Propaganda in the evening. Nigeria is like 65 years now, No progress. Planning a nation is hard. We know. But at the same time, its very simple. Let this be given a try, in 3 years, you would see what would happen. You are bringing in someone who studied English to head Ministries that include Import and Export , no single business sense, and you want the country to see road! How e wan see road abeg? |
