So, this is a surprising, yet welcome recognition of the President's determination, courage, and fortitude.

If you are a Nigerian who has been frustrated that Nigeria has not made the sort of progress it should have since independence, give this President a chance.

He can't change everything that has gone wrong in the last 50 years in less than 2 years. And unless he is a miracle worker, which he is not, and nobody is, it is unlikely that he will be able to change Nigeria into Eldorado in 4 or even 8 years.

But one thing is sure, in just 18 months, this man has shown that he is probably the best President Nigeria has ever had.

If you doubt me, please name any Nigerian President that has done in just 18 months what Mr Tinubu has accomplished in the same time frame.

This man is setting the foundation for Nigeria's economic greatness, but that greatness will only be achieved if future Presidents after him continue to build on the foundation.

Do not be in a rush to vote in another President in 2027 that will destroy the foundation Mr Tinubu is building.

They even lied that APC Presidential Campaigns had asked ThisDay/Arise Media Group to remove Rufai Oseni from the Morning Show and Shaka Momodu as ThisDay Editor in favour of patronage should Tinubu win.

After the heat from Bayo Onanuga and Dele Alake, Newspaper Proprietors Association of Nigeria had to intervene to reach a settlement as the owner of ThisDay/Arise found himself in hot water.

The morning after the results were declared, Rufai Oseni exhibited a sad and forlorn look as he could not conceal his pain.

Following Tinubu's victory, they brought all sorts of human beings to their media station to discredit the elections and discuss a matter in a court. 3. I think it is unethical for a media house to dish out awards. A media is a business, but how can they be objective in coverage when they give awards to people they ought to report?

4. How come Channels TV, TVC, NTA, VOA et al do not give awards to people?

5. It is clearly a battle of business survival which makes this award in bad taste, unethical and unacceptable.

Let's look into the future:

I normally dont respond to online trolls, but just to educate you a bit of your ignorance. I grew up in Lagos and was old enough to understand the situation before and after his governorship. He brought a lot of reforms to lagos as Governor which has changed the state till today. I remember in the 90s when Lagos virtually terminated at maroko, everything after that was bush till you get to Epe. Today, based on the reforms he started then and mainly the execution of Fashola. Lekki axis today is virtually opened up all the way to Epe and even Ijebu in Ogun state. He grew lagos igr astronomically as a governor and ultimately its economy. If past performance is a predictor of future achievements then I believe he indeed stand a good chance of doing well as a president.

I am not tinubu's PR aide so i am really not willing to act as one here. But just i will give you one reform that opened up lekki axis, ozumba mbadiwe was a single lane before his tenure, was literally unpassable and littered with refuse. He dualized it and awarded the lekki epe expressway toll and massive widening of the road. As soon as ozumba was fixed. Real estate developers started massive land acqusition and development almost immediately. That road was the catalyst that opened up lekki.
