airmark:The only thing knows how to do is pass to Palmer or another teammate when he is on the verge of missing chances. Drisham and his band of naysayers like ballzproblem2 will not say anything |

🗣John Obi Mikel: “The project is working but we need someone to be there when Nicolas is not scoring, we need a second striker to be there, come in, take responsibility and wins us games, that was my argument and my conversation” “Maresca says we played 9 games, a couple were conference league. It’s not a question of fatigue. I come back to it, players think December is a f’ing holiday, it’s not a f’ing holiday, it’s time to pick up points because these are going to matter come the end of the season, if you think it’s time to have Turkey, wine, no. It’s been like a holiday period for us this December, we were never like that” “January? We need another striker, I’ve said this so many times, Goalkeeper worries me” “I’ve got no idea why the manager drops gusto sometimes and plays Disasi at right back” “Speaking with the club, I think they know exactly what they want to do, the players they want to sign and the players they want to get out." “In the summer, I think we might see a striker, goalkeeper, maybe another midfielder and defender." #CFC | #Chelsea 📲 @CFC_ChelseaFC

nateevs:You have every right to see what you want to see, even when I attached a footer that states how Liverpool play and Jota and Nunez as their point men. You have every right to believe that we are still in 2024 as some Nigerians believed sometime ago that it wasn't Buhari at Aso rock that year and they were not arrested. You are right, Jota wasn't the point man in that match. I goofed. |

Is this barca and. Olmo issue serious or just rival fans trolling? |

airmark:I agree, Jackson isn’t the right choice to be our main striker and definitely needs to be replaced with someone better. Now, could you summarise what all our wingers did in that game? Especially the winger who earns £250k a week and still needs time to work on his shooting skills. Lil Baby started the game yesterday. Can you highlight one thing Aba Ronaldo, aka Lil Baby, did to help us win or at least secure a point? Like I mentioned earlier, I really hope we get Haaland or an even better striker than him. That way, we can outscore all the teams even if the wingers don’t do their job! |

Abeg, where's Angelo Gabriel? We should recall him to replace Lil Baby, abeg! |

diggz:Scoring goals is not the only job of wingers, but agreed they should be scoring. Madueke had shot on target that was forced to a corner unlike Jackson whose primary function is to score but was proving Mikel right. We don't need to sign Haaland before getting an upgrade of Jackson. We just need a finisher who will bury most of our chances and won't give us HBP anytime he faces the keeper. Jackson shouldn't be starting for any top 4 in Epl. |

airmark:How many chances did all your wingers combined create in the game against Ipswich? You've excused your wingers from scoring, but why aren't they creating enough chances? Are they still practicing how to do it, or are they excused from that too? |

airmark:This is quite frankly, a phucking load of nonsense Airmark......trying to introduce a new phrase "point man" through the back door. The question is whether Jota did or not, is he quite this top striker you keep claiming we need to mount a challenge? Liverpool are not just only mounting a title challenge, they are THE CHALLENGE for everyone else across all competitions and they are doing it without half a striker. Now tell us, how are they doing this? |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by nateevs(m): 6:02pm On Jan 01, 2025 |
airmark:Statistical neophytes coming up with bullshit again. There is no striker alive that will finish most of our chances. Find us the stats and prove us wrong. If you think we are wrong, name names. Give us the strikers that you know will bury most of our chances. |

| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by popizaino(m): 8:18pm On Jan 01, 2025 |
I am not saying attack or defence is our problem. But sometimes, it seems we give room for too much mediocrity. Just like Chelsea, Arsenal conceded an unexpected goal against Brentford, they did not panic. They picked themselves up and scored three more. But we were here the other day analysing why we conceded to Ipswich without replying back with 4 more goals. Maresca must sit up and build a winning mentality, not players that fold up when the pressure is intense. |

| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by nateevs(m): 8:31pm On Jan 01, 2025 |
popizaino:You cannot come back from 1 goal down if you have a dearth in chance creation/ goal scoring opportunities in your support cast. Most of our goals have come from Palmer and Jackson this season. No matter how hard we try, they will not be on point every game. It's up to others to come up with the goals when required. Arsenal have no Saka, no Rice, no Havertz, no Trossard playing in this game. If Neto and Sanchez are not playing, and Jackson/Palmer are having bad games, who's turning up for us? Madueke? |

| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by popizaino(m): 8:49pm On Jan 01, 2025 |
nateevs:Everything still falls back on Maresca,he should employ a tactics that brings the best in everyone not some players. By so doing,we wouldn't be having dearth of chances. |
