I agree with you that a solid defence inspires confident to attack at will and our defenders haven't covered themselves in glory but we can excuse them for the first goal which was a bit controversial. Generally, we had a bad performance against Ipswich, but games against Everton and Fulham exposed this. What useless defence does it, when they concede and the team tries to level or outscore by all means, the chances of conceding another significantly increases.

For example Fulham, Ipswich. Vs Fulham, Lapses by Gusto turned Neto to a defender and he failed to make a good tackle.

Vs Ipswich, in our desperation to equalize the game, Disaster struck and all 3 defenders couldn't stop a very casual goal.

We need a CB and most importantly, a RB. Cos even a good RB poses good attacking threat. Also, we need to bin Sancho and go for a serious winger.

There's no difference between morata and Jackson and if Chelsea can do away with morata then l see no reason why Jackson shouldn't be sold off.

Check the volume of passes Newcastle have been making these past few matches and you will see the Tonali effect.

Frimpong has a release clause of 40million so we don't have to sell anyone. The problem is Enzo likes his fullback to invert which doesn't suit frimpong or any other attacking fullback. Even Gusto is stifled in this system.
