Ever since the Cyber crime act of 2015 came into effect, people have gotten arrested up and down even more than politicians. Even I noticed Seun issues a disclaimer on two supposedly defamatory post, which shows Nairaland isn't safe either. The biggest users of these law are the Police and ordinary citizens. I think the reason the law is used more by citizens is that it seemingly offers instant gratification than suing. Anyway sha, let Tinubu do fast and make this place to at least be like China and Rich Arab kingdoms where economy is good but freedom of speech is limited, A hungry man is an angry insulting defamatory man. 2 Likes |
