The government thinks about tax but they forget that high taxes slows down businesses, when businesses slow down, organisations don’t hire so unemployment increases. The obi is becoming stupid even though I voted him.He is beginning to show the weakness I was afraid of to pls the North. And this is always the problem with my igbo people. Why the preferencial treatment to the North. That yeye Buhari borrowed all the money and shared it to the north in the name of different agricultural fraud. If he threads in this direction I will not vote him 2027 and campaign against him.The North feels everything about Nigeria has to be about them first.They don't want equal playing ground. Good points Most people are supporting what is at best diversionary You can't tax people to prosperity Tax reform can't reflate the economy or bring the much needed succour to citizens It will only give politicians more money to loot Where is all the money they claimed to have saved from subsidy removal and naira devaluation as well as electricity tariff increase? For context try asking a street thug in Lagos how to improve the city—he won’t offer any useful or constructive ideas. Their own is how to get money from the Okada riders, street vendors and the average lagosians.
