How about catering for the family? Aside rent, feeding, school fees (once married, you begin to reproduce), medical, clothing and so so and so forth.

To live a good life, you need a car for mobility sake as a family.

Diversify. Find other means of income, preferably something online.

Amazon KDP for example, can be done alongside your job. Domaining too. People still make money from online surveys/AI trainings

Or find someone to teach you USDT arbitrage although that takes a lot of time and capital.

None of them is easy though. So you have to be disciplined.

Probably, he feels mechanics don’t have money up to the level he is thinking.

Those with bungalow, two cars and wives can have more, if they go and learn more about the trade in a more modern and advanced ways and they invest in right and appropriate tools ⚒️ 🧰.

I don’t see why a Nigerian mechnic who has over 10 years experience cannot spare 2 more years to go a trade school abroad to learn about his line of business and learn the business process with it then work there to raise more money and then go back to Nigeria to setup and have his niche market/customers.

Life is simple. When you begin to embrace simplicity, you start to attract simplicity

To be prepared for marriage, you need to understand the first message up there. Know yourself. Who are you ?

Know your self because you'll only attract who you are for marriage. And if your self is lack of contentment, woe unto you when you attract an uncontented woman for marriage.

There is nothing like enough. Have you seen enough money before? How much is enough money. Enough is a psychological quantity. You can never have it all.

To live a good life, you have to work towards knowing yourself. Don't rush into marriage only to rush out. I know my advice may seem vague to Yiu because I'm not telling you to learn programming or forex or all of that.

That's not what you need. Whatever skill anyone recommends to you will only carry you as far as you want it to carry you

Can you dedicate 4-5 years to a skill even when money isn't forthcoming yet?

Can you be humble enough to learn from someone younger than you

Can you be patient with good character?
How discipled are you when you start making money? Will you land on money just to blow it away on nonsense people tag as 'living life'

Are you loyal enough to remains faithful to the wife you think you need now?

Can you give a customer quality regardless of the economic situation?

Know your self. It's a journey. All will be added as you progress, hopefully.
Money isn't all. Nice clothes isn't all. Flashy lifestyle isn't it. Focus on Self
