LordBiden:If you not seen a rich mechanic, but at least you have seen mechanics that are landlords, sent their kids to school and drove their own car (even though it is not a latest model) right?? Then think how many private school teacher have you seen with this privilege? Expect you want to be like Aliko Dangote before this year runs out, that can be your turning point. Setting future and pursuing it is not for the weak either. |

Breatheon:Hmnnn I think you should start by appreciating God that you even have a steady source of income and are not worse off. Secondly try to live below your income, cut on spending as much as you can even though i know it is hard but a few things like cooking at home instead of eating outside, avoiding ostentatious spending like going for the latest phones or clothes when you have a functional one can help then i would you invest your time in learning a trade such as forex trading well with reduced risks or learning web design and digital marketing. Then from your savings you can invest one tenth of your savings to increase your earnings. I wish you all the best and avoid worrying too much it can lead to depression and other ill health conditions. |

VanuatuWycombe:^^^ Very true. I never thought I would quote or paraphrase Osama bin Laden but its now clear to me that the auto repair industry in Nigeria is in 'need of liberation'. It is fragmented, largely unregulated and it is a sellers market through and through. I do not know where the push for regulation will come from. Government is asleep at the wheel (as usual). If mechanics themselves clean up their trade and self regulate in a sensible manner, they can move their trade several leap years forward from where it is at the moment. But will they? |

Reverseng:This can only come from a man who experience the matrix and left it. Solid advice. Consistency is the key not age. If he starts anything and consistently do it for 2-4yrs, after 4yrs, even the juju in his family can't stop him. The journey reveals yourself to you. If you can't face the journey, you can't find yourself. |

I'm 31 and a Type 1 Diabetic. I receive 27k monthly as a house keeper. I am tired of just living like this as I spend all my money on drugs that's even more expensive than the salary Breatheon: |

Breatheon:Keep giving your self high hbp unnecessarily . They will tell you, you are suppose to be married with 5 kids. Ask them is Nigeria suppose to be the way it is ? Ask them is a graduate suppose to marry on 85k job in this economy ? Honestly, if nigerians are reasonable, everyone should be talking about how to fix this country first instead of whether breatheon is married or not. |

Jollysailor94:I read through the front page and was just seeing messages that'll only make him feel good. Age is a number yes but let's not deceive ourselves. Life at 20 is different from life at 70. This is the reality whether people like to believe it or not. Breatheon; this is the message right here. Do this and by the grace of God, come back in January 2026. |

Focus on improving yourself, dont be pressurized by people fluanting wealth, some of them are sponsored to create depression in others. Dont think of settling down on that kind of salary unless your intended is doing something productive and willing to support you. Mark the last statement'' willing to support you''. The last thing you need now is a beautiful liability. |

LordBiden:My mechanic drives a Landcruiser Prado. The next house from where I used to live is owned by a mechanic. A block of flats, he later became the chief mechanic of a popular transport company which was how he was able to afford the house |

LordBiden:Nothing is for the weak. Unless you inherited wealth, won lottery or got lucky, getting rich is not easy. Like even in the animal kingdom, Apex predators like Lions, Tigers, killer whales, Kodiak bears must be strategic in their hunting before they can feed themselves and thier cubs. The idea is that, life is not easy especially as a poor/middle class. Mechanic are not rich yes but most with sense are not struggling to feed. Some have their houses and other properties. By sense, I mean marrying the right woman, having a small family like maximum two or three depending on their pockets and of course not wasting funds. Generally, mechanics are in fact doing well and some are actually rich. |

Bros, I'm 35 years. I resigned from a job of 65k almost 3 years ago. We relocated to a countryside. From the savings of my wife and I, we collected pos terminals and started doing pos business. Today, we earn around 10k daily. We are paying our bills comfortably. And doing other little investments. Go and collect pos terminal and entre street to hustle. It has challenges but your determination will crush the challenges. That's my piece of advice from my own experience. |

Breatheon:Oga let me lend my own advice. search for GM (ghost writing), ever since you are a graduate so it's more easier even illerates are cashing out from it. It's a online skills which you can achieve with your spare time and it paid in foreign currency($). Over procrastination is my own undoing about that skill since I registered it over last five months ago, though I have a business I am into already just needed outside hustle, those that were just two months in the skill have already winning contracts from left to right. so my advice is just search for it and thank me later. |

Breatheon:Well about me, I did so many odd jobs growing up and thinking about the future, but the curiosity and the fear of the future makes me kept changing them till I found the one that can guarantee and prepare me for the future. I went into the trade of Ice fish agent with assurance that the future can be fully secured if I put by best into it, so I dived into it leaving everything behind without any iota of light on sight, but I believe it would worth it in the end. I served for about 3 years with so much passion and commitment, and today with the help of God, I’m married with kids, owning a ryde and some properties to my name. Try and set a goal, then work vigorously towards it with prayers and in no time, you will see that becoming a reality 💯💯. Don’t forget with prayers cos with God on our side, nothing is impossible 💯 |
