You are missing Traditional Strikers with Wingers.

The bolded are not strikers

Afrodoc list contained Raul, Del piero, Baggio. Bebeto etc who were not traditional strikers as well. Even Henry will not be classified as a traditional striker. Openda is a pure striker.

Airmark Madueke took the Top spot.
Lil Baby needs to be permanently relegated to Team B. As for Sancho, he should be sent back to Manchester to continue his shooting practice there. We can definitely do better than all the wannabe wingers we have. Only God knows why they sold Gabriel and kept Lil Baby here.

Injuries sidelined him for much of that season na.

Btw, you are even proving my point. Consistently good performance over the entire season counts more than isolated great ones in one or two matches.

This is why Inzaghi's 02/03 season is elite level.

The most important thing is the CL final and he failed to deliver his polling unit in 02/03 tongue

The reason Angelo Gabriel was sold is still a Mystery to me, how can a club sign such prospects and then sell him just like that.
Our wingers are too goal shy, I wonder were we would have been on the Table if not for Palmer and Jackson goals.

Angelo Gabriel is too young for epl,he needs to be matured before kicking the ball for Chelsea.

Are you saying our matured wingers with lots of experience cannot score goals?

You're not a real Chelsea

Joelington, for some reasons, is always in the good graces of match officials. You hardly see him get punished for what other players get penalized for.

Hand was in its natural position, don’t know what you want him to do there

If he was in his own box and his hand was in this “natural position”, would it be a penalty or not?

Well he wasn’t in his own box , we’ve seen lots of fouls been judged differently in and out of the box it’s not a new thing

You must be joking grin

Pippo was UCL top scorer in 02/03 with 10 goals and Milan won the UCL that season. He then scored around another 20 in domestic competitions.

A 30-goal season that brought in both UCL and Serie A trophies is what you call meaningless?? Are those not the stats of an elite striker?

What brand of Semo are you smoking..D
He obviously didn't watch Inzaghi hence going to Wikipedia.

One of Seria A most hattrick holder.😁

No, those players were at their peak in the 90s to early 2000s like i mentioned. About 12-15 years max.

Look at this way.

Netherlands had van Basten and Bergkamp at the same time. When van Basten left they had Bergkamp and Kluivert. When Bergkamp left they had Kluivert and van Nistelrooy. Kluivert left and it became RVN, RVP, Huntelaar. Now it is Depay and Weghorst.

Brazil had Romario and Bebeto, then Bebeto and R9, then R9 and Adriano. Now it is Gabriel Jesus and Richarlison. cheesy

We can do the same for Germany, Italy etc.
Fair point. But I will exclude strikers like Romario, Baggio and Van Basten because they are more of the late 80s bloomers.

I think from strikers between 1996 - 2012 is more relevant.

Elite - De Lima, Henry, Sheva, Eto, Weah, Raul, Batigol, RVN, Del Piero, Adriano, Zlatan, Drogba, Rooney, Suarez, Shearer, Aguero

Great - Trezeguet, Inzaghi, RVP, Owen, Kluivert, Suker, Fowler, Roy Makaay, Andy Cole, C. Vieri, Elber, Salas

Very good - Forlan, Tevez, Anelka, Milito, Luis Adriano, Adebayor, Crouch, Diego Tristan, Darko Kovacevic, Nihat, Henrik Larsson, John Carew, Hasselbaink, Yorke, Luca Toni, Klose, Berbatov, Adrian Mutu, Higuain, Mario Gomez, Morientes, Mark Viduka,

Most of today's very good strikers cannot lace the old Tier 3 strikers boots. Only Mbappe, Haaland and Lewy will sit in the Tier 1 and Lewy's case is because of his past exploits. Kane is Tier 2 level.

All dem Isak n Co we are shouting about now are more or less old Tier 4 equivalent or at best Tier 3. Gyokeres is untested at the topmost level so he's like a Henrik Larsson of the 2000s who was always the highest goalscorer in Europe.

If he was in his own box it would be a nailed on penalty. Other players have been penalized for handling the ball in that way outside the box as well. For some reasons, the officials overlooked it today.

It may not be a clear handball but it’s controversial as hell. There are teams for which that would be given as a handball only that Newcastle is not one of them.

Ronaldo and to a lesser extent Messi elevated football. Attackers are scoring more goals now than their counterparts from 2000.
Even your post disagrees with this gibberish you spilled regarding Messi.😁😁

Yes, his hands had no business outside his body, same happened and burn was adjudged to have handled the ball.

Like Werner like zirkzee......can't attack, can't defend.
