Charles Taylor, the former President of Liberia, made some revealing statements on Former President Olusegun Obasanjo at the ICC. during his trial at the Special Court in Sierra Leone.

Taylor's testimony was quite dramatic and comprehensive, as he attempted to distance himself from the Revolutionary United Front (RUF) and shift the blame to the international community.

OBJ did the right thing in Taylors case. I remember the story very well.

Nigeria spent so much on ECOMOG because there was no peace in Sierra Leone and Liberia all because of Charles Taylor, Samuel Doe, Yormie Johnson and a few others. Taking him and others out of the picture stabilised the region.
