Nightmares are dreams where the dreamer appears to be in distress or under attack. Examples are beating chased in the dream, or being robbed, attacked or tied up, or having an accident etc. When the dreamer wakes up, he is initially worried, and as his physical senses take over, he becomes more relaxed realising that he/she is safe (or appears to be safe ) on the bed, and there are no enemies around. This types of dream are the least dangerous because they are easiest to deal with. I’ll explain more later.

The more dangerous nightmare situation are those that appear normal, so the victim is unaware of danger. For example, the victims see themselves back in old primary schools wearing uniforms, or walking in a gated estate trying to find the exit gate, or walking barefoot, or being a building and unable to find the doors, or finding it difficult to walk down stairs, or having sěx in the dream (usually before an important event). Dreams like these appear innocuous and normal, but are more dangerous.

The most dangerous type of dreams are those where you have a strange dream, and immediately you wake up, it is deleted. If feels like someone pressed the delete button in your brain and you cannot remember a thing.
People like this are in a most dangerous position because they are spiritually blind. Nighttime dreams and nightmares are the thermometer of your spiritual life, which in turn determines your physical life. When people ask for help from strange occurrences, the first question to be asked is “what type of dreams do you dream?”
May the Living God open the eyes of our understanding in Jesus name, Amen.

The first set of dreams I called the easiest to solve because they show direct satanic oppression, and the victim can easily seek help from God and get deliverance. Most times, even a layperson can interpret the dream on their own and know what to pray and fast about. Dreams like that represent attacks from low level altars such as witchcraft attacks, sorcery, demons etc. We would get into tackling them in a bit.

The second category represent attacks from familiar spirits, the occult, power of divination, family idols, etc.
Victims tend to take them lightly because they appear normal. Dreams of walking barefoot represent shame and disgrace programmed into the victims life, dreams of being back in old places the victim has left /outgrown represents delay, stagnation and retrogression. Dreams of having sěx in which on waking up the victim is actually wet, represents virtue theft by marine powers. This is one of the most common nightmares, often happening the night before an exam, interview, major project, and happens repeatedly to the point that the victim knows and expects the pattern. As soon as it occurs, whatever activity that was to be done would end in failure by default. Due to its prevalence, I’ll elaborate further. Its main causes are 1) An active ancestral marine covenant where descendants of a family have been covenanted to a marine idol or entity, thus you find the pattern amongst family members but they rarely speak up out of shame. If you are a man experiencing this, and it has been there since your teens, ask your father, he knows about it. 2) Direct exposure to marine elements via sěx with possessed people. 3). Pornography.
The manifestation is usually poverty, frustration, failure at the edge of breakthrough, marital instability, incest , domestic violence.

For people in the third category, spiritually blind, the task is for God to open their eyes.
The dreams I have cited as examples are by no means exhaustive.

So, how do we deal with them?
1. Legal grounds. Before satanic oppression can occur, there has to be a legal framework. No spirit, altar, demon, power or force has the right to afflict you unless they have the right paperwork. The most common document is family idolatrous covenant. In families where ancestors served idols, they entered into covenants with these entities on behalf of even their descendants. These idols gave them certain powers and took certain things in exchange. After those ancestors died, the deals continued running. Ignorance is not an excuse, and even the Almighty God respects covenants.
The victim would have to pray that the legal ground be revealed to him/her, then it can be addressed specifically by name and annulled with the higher covenant of the blood of Jesus.
1b. Furthermore on legal grounds is family wickedness. In cases where ancestors were wicked, buried people alive, or killed people for occultic powers or sold slaves, demons and familiar spirits frequently serve as enforcers of untimely death, strange diseases, infertility and violent incidences.
1c. The third instance is ancestral occupational idols. For instance blacksmiths, hunters, fishermen, wood carvers etc all had idols they worshipped, and they covenanted their offspring to them, so those offspring could excel in the family trade and their wealth would be preserved. Any offspring who went contrary would live in penury.
1d. Territorial altars. These are idols localised to your place of origin. Your village juju. They are usually serviced by those who live there on behalf of those who don’t live there. There are normally family shrines that hold elements that signify the family tree, and from there, lives of descendants are monitored and remotely controlled. It is common to hear people say that “people from my village cannot eat xyz food, or we cannot be killed by xyz river”. Those are the activities of territorial idols, and must be broken for victims to move forward. Please note that every territory on earth has a ruling spirit unless subdued already.

2. The above can affect even born again Christians who are ignorant. The second main reason for satanic oppression is sin.
A practical example I like is - you are on your way to work, and you see two mechanics fighting at the bus stop, both of them are soiled in grease and dust. You are dressed in suit and tie, so obviously you would not interfere, it’s not your business. Now let’s assume you are a lawyer or doctor, and you hear one of the participants in the brawl say “rule of law, burden of proof , law of evidence “ or some medical terminology. Now you would become interested. Assuming you look closely and see that he is actually dressed like you, and is your colleague, but it’s the beating that has made him look like a mechanic, now you would get involved to rescue him without caring about your suit and tie. That’s how God sees sin. When you are in sin, He won’t intervene in your oppression. But when you are righteous, God will fight your battles for you. May God fight all your battles and give you victory in Jesus name.

3. Witchcraft attacks. These are low level wickedness. Attacks can come out of envy, hatred, or from a polygamous background. Sometimes, people in the family can see your star and begin to afflict you to prevent you from reaching your potential. For them to prevail, you must live in sin.
Witchcraft can be in the workplace, school or even in church.

4. Pride. The bible says that God resists the proud. So when you have pride, as your enemies fight you, God fights you. People are usually proud about their wealth, beauty, intellect, pedigree, position, and the worst is being too proud to acknowledge the supremacy of God.


5. Finally, Strife, anger and malice. This is a common seasoning in the soup of satanic oppression. Malice and anger are the most common legal ground used by witches. There is a reason why the bible says that the sun must not go down on your anger. Because anger opens you up to nighttime operations from the kingdom of darkness. When you are facing satanic attacks, you would notice that people go out of their way annoy you. That is satanic manipulation. When you stay angry, you have left your goal post open.
Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the lord.

REMEDY
1. Genuinely accepting Jesus as Lord and savior.
2. Confessing every known personal and ancestral sin.
3. Destroying tokens and contact points for family idols in your possession.
4. Aggressive prayer and fasting. Let’s discuss this.
You cannot pray and command unless you are in good standing with God. The only prayer of a sinner that God hears is a prayer asking for forgiveness.

The first day of fasting should be dedicated to asking for mercy. You would have to confess every known sin aloud in prayer. Relevant bible verses are Psalms 25, 51, 86, 136. Prov 28.13. Isaiah 30.18, Lamentations 3.22-23, Colossians 1. 12 to the end. Colossians 2.14-15.
The last 2 verses are your new legal ground.

Before you fast, reach you to every person you are in active conflict with, and tell them you have forgiven them. Make peace with all men, so that your Heavenly Father will make peace with you.

Remedy for ancestral covenants/ marine covenants/ deep occult and other forms satanic attacks.

After the first day of prayer and fasting for mercy and establishment of your sonship with God, now you can decree and declare.
Lest I forget, fasting means abstaining from food, entertainment, social media, everything that you enjoy, and if married, even from sex - but with the consent of your spouse. Abstaining from social media is extremely important, because that is the devil’s main tool for distraction today.
Main Prayers are best done at 12am and 3am because that’s when the kingdom of darkness is most active.
Cover yourself with the blood of Jesus.

For voiding ancestral covenants, meditate and pray with the following bible verses:
Nehemiah 9.
Ezekiel 18.
Galatians 3.10-14
Psalm 106.
Colossians 2.14-15 ( Your legal rights).
Isaiah 49.24-26. (Your legal right)
Your confession is that you renounce every covenant (you can mention it specifically if you know it) that your ancestors have entered into on your behalf. Now Jesus Christ has bought you with a price, so you cannot serve two masters. Search for the relevant backing scripture. You are now under the covenant of the blood of Jesus, the lamb that was slain from the foundation of the world, therefore the covenant of Jesus supersedes every other one. Pray according to the scripture and as the spirit leads.


For marine covenants and nighttime sexual robberies
After the first day of fast for mercy and confessing of sins
Ensure that you have broken all contact with pornography materials and partners in fornication/adultery.

Now stand on the following verses in meditation, prayer and confession.
Ezekiel 29.1-3
Nahum 2.6
Psalm 8.4-8
Isaiah 27.
Your confession is I DIVORCE EVERY MARINE ENTITY I HAVE MARRIED OR BEEN MARRIED TO. I DECLARE THAT MARRIAGE COVENANT NULL AND VOID. NOW I AM MARRIED TO JESUS CHRIST BY HIS BLOOD, THEREFORE I CANNOT BE MARRIED TO TWO PEOPLE AT THE SAME TIME. I RENOUNCE MARINE POWERS, I RENOUNCE EVERY BENEFIT THEY GIVE ME, AND I DISOWN EVERY MARINE CHILD I HAVE ACQUIRED IN JESUS NAME.
Stand on the scripture and pray as the spirit leads.

To tackle nighttime blindness, you will also need to declare a fast. This is the most serious affliction that can befall anybody.

Day 1 is for prayers for mercy and forgiveness as usual. Of course you would have made up with everyone you have a quarrel with.
Day 2-7 are for intense prayer and fasting. Dawn to dusk. Neither food nor water. NPO. Break your fast at sunset.

You would pray on a bottle of water you shall not drink from until after the 7th day. Meditate and pray during the day, Bowing down , worship, praise and pray at 12am and 3am.
Stand on the following verses.
Psalm 27.
Psalm 18.
Isaiah 35.3-5
Isaiah 42.5-8
Luke 4.18
Ist John 5.7-8. (not the gospel of John, 1 John is after the 2nd epistle of Peter).

On the 7th day after praying at nighttime, you shall open the bottle of water, wash your face, eyes, ears and head, declaring that every veil, blindness and covering be removed by the power in the name of Jesus.
Drink a little of that water, declaring that every satanic deposit in your body be flushed out, then wash your hands and feet.

In this period of fasting and prayer, you would be most sensitive in the spirit.
Try to write down the dreams you get during this week of fasting and afterwards, because many times God will reveal to you things you were not aware of.

Also be wary of the calls you take and the people you see in this period. The devil and his agents are not going to sit and watch you leave. They would put up a front. Thus it is best to avoid unnecessary calls and unnecessary outings. When you fast, your body changes both physically and spiritually - if you are unmarried , you would notice the opposite sex being more attracted to you than normal - this is because they can sense the clean energy you exude. Take great care to avoid temptation and if possible people in the period of your fast.


Finally, some deliverance require external help. The bible says that 1 person shall overcome 1000, two shall overcome 10000. If any two people shall agree concerning any matter, it shall be done unto them. God honours prayers of agreement. The bible further states that the prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
There are several deliverance ministries out there, allow God to guide you, and always ensure that everything is in line with the scripture. Three ministers I personally recommend are Derek Prince (his videos are on YouTube) , James Kawalya of Lifeway ministries Uganda (his services are online too) and Pastor Daniel K. Olukoya.
