Pastor Adeboye’s threatening critics with death from God in 2025 and the congregation rejoicingly said Amen!
Jesus was called ‘drunkard and glutton’. They accused Him of driving out demons by the power of Belzebub(Matt12:24). In all He never cursed His mockers or rejoiced in their destruction.

On the cross, naked,in pains and humiliated, Jesus prayed for the forgiveness of His captors! He never worried whether they were ready to repent or not !

Some people may cite Elisha cursing 42 boys who mocked him to defend Adeboye but Elisha was not a Christian! He was under the law and not under the grace of Christ!

Pastor Adeboye was so bothered about his AI generated caricature and insinuated that God was going to kill his unrepentant critics and ‘mockers’! The congregation who sadly idolize this fallible human said Amen to his prayer! President Tinubu, an unbeliever,has had many caricatures and AI generated pictures posted
online yet he never said anything! He knows these are things that come naturally with being in the limelight!

Critics are necessary evils to keep us in check even as men of God because your loyal congregation and pastors would never have the liver to tell u when u make mistakes. Remember when u mistakenly said non tithers wont make heaven; it took people like Damina and other critics to make you rescind your stance and publicly repent. Also remember when u openly supported Israel over Palestine in a tweet, it took critics like Reno Omokri to make you delete the tweet!

Finally, Adeboye should remember that if God had k#lled him when he was womanising according to him while in the world, would we have a great man of God known worldwide today? If God had wiped out Saul of Tarsus who persecuted the church, would we have had Paul?

As a fellow child of God, I pray for more constructive criticisms for the church. I would continue to pray for the repentance of mockers,sinners and jesters(Ezekiel 33:11). I would encourage Christians to only make Christ their role model. He is the only perfect one, not Adeboye, me or anyone!

No one is above criticism

Constructive criticism is different from lies, mockery, blackmail or slander. The other three are destructive.

Grace covers those who accept Christ. Grace is not for sinners / mockers. So they are not insulated from God's judgement if they blaspheme, slander, deceive or tell lies. The demon possessed sinner, the church going and bible knowing sinner are not protected by grace. Only those who are genuinely oblivious of the truth MAY/PROBABLY find mercy

In the new testament, Ananias and Sapphire were killed by the holy ghost for telling lies. Grace period did not protect them. Paul pronounced blindness on elymas the sorcerer who tried to pervert someone heart against the gospel and it happened in the new testament- grace did not prevent it

You guys who mock pastors are only not being punished today because those pastors do not serve God from a pure heart. God still fights for his own today. It is not just about pastors but any Christian who is genuine. If you lie, blackmail, mock or curse them or even call the gift of God upon their lives fake, there can be serious repercussions especially those Christians who appear forgiving though deeply hurt.

Personally I don't support a pastor threatening people with this reality. But somehow it's good for people to know because ignorance is not an excuse. I know a case of an agbero who slapped a taxi driver pastor at a garage in sapele. The pastor decided to leave the park when it was his turn to load because he the church needed his car for some work at that period. The pastor cried but left without quarrel. Week after the agbero came begging - his hands were swollen and every native doctor he met told him they hear, "he touched my anointed.

Go and sit down somewhere lazy youth. You only know how to write useless lenghty text to police people's life you are not better than why your own life rotten in bad behaviour and poverty. First remove plenty logs from your eyes before you help others remove theirs. If you apply the same Bible, you will not come here with brainless long-text to mock the man of God.
