Ikiloba:Lol best route is contonu - lagos lol she she or he should send you an invitation letter stamped and endoured by any immigration lawyer and also have employment details. Then the application should have valid and strong hoke ties to Nigeria EyesOnTheSparro: |

Ikiloba:Thank you for your response. Basically : Invitation The immigration lawyer part, here in Nigeria or Canada? Strong ties to Nigeria. Will salary in Nigeria also counts? Earn far above the Canadian average. |

EyesOnTheSparro:IRCC won't judge based on fund Your profile doesn't seems to qualify for a visit visa. I might be wrong thou 😌 |

The immigration lawyer in Canada. Then her or his job employment details in Canada to show he or she is capable of hosting you for that short stay. Those would be added benefits to you.. But you have to demonstrate that you have strong home ties to Nigeria. Such as jobs or personal employment details. Properties. Marriage certificates and pictures retirement accounts kids photos and alots more including travel history. Canada visitors visa right now is not for the weak ... You might qualify but still get rejected. EyesOnTheSparro: |

Passport Request Received! I’ve been a silent observer but decided to share my experience. Timeline: Submitted: August 22 Biometrics: Not required (this is a renewal from my 2019 application, which I didn’t use). Background: I currently hold: A 5-year U.S. visa A 5-year U.K. visa A 1-year Schengen visa However, I was worried about the possibility of denial because I didn’t include details about my initial visa rejections for the U.S. and the U.K. Despite meeting the criteria, I was also curious why my application wasn’t processed through CAN+. Thankfully, everything worked out, and I just received my Passport Request a few minutes ago! |

Ashirioluwa:Please I do want to know whether, if updating more information on application that’s on process will draw it backward? Please anyone had any experience on that? I’d wish to know before updating as I don’t want my application process to be longer than the normal processing time please. Thanks. |

It is possible the delay came from the non-disclosure of the previous refusals. Anyhow, congratulations! anyiboi: |

One thing you can consider; if there is a Canadian Embassy in the country where the main applicant currently is, he might be able to submit his passport there instead. Please contact the embassy in Nigeria to ask if this is possible. uchee: |

No need to book for passport submission at the VAC, you can walk into VFS on any week day/ non- holiday to drop off. Oly23: |

Oly23:Not at all. I just walked in there yesterday morning and submitted for me and my wife. Got that done in 30 minutes or less. If you're submitting on behalf of someone else, ensure to print a copy of their passport data page alongside your own. Also print and complete the form that authorises third party submission. I just wonder what the turn-around time for the passport is. |

If you're referring to when the passport will be ready for pickup, it is typically less than a week. You submitted on Thursday morning, yes? You should be able to get your passport back on Tuesday or Wednesday. All the best. Emperoh: |

By God’s Grace, I applied for me and my children and out application is already in process. My daughter will be 14years by next week. I don’t know if they’ll update the account for Biometrics request on her behalf when she clocks the 14years. Has anyone with kids experienced such too? I just wished to know so that I’d be on the look out and also get prepared. Though work and school are starting same next week. |

Hello . Please I need ur clarification. We applied for VV visa sometime in September. Myself and my husband have been to the US twice and we currently have a valid 5years US visa which we attached on our application..... application was inclusive of my mum and my toddler who is just 3 but both my mum and daughter do not have a valid US visa. I was assuming since Myself and my husband have a valid US visa our application should be processed with Can+ and we should get a faster response. But we are yet to get any response just shows processing |

Hi Everyone. Please I need your advice, i have a Canadian girlfriend and she wants me to come for a visit, I don’t have any travel experience and i have no job at the moment, I’m totally confused. I don’t know about how to go through this documentation process since I don’t have a Job at the time. Please kindly assist house. Secondly do you think it’s advisable that I’m visiting my girlfriend? |
| Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by orjohn24: 12:53pm On Jan 05, 2025 |
Forummaster234:You want to apply for a visit visa, but you have no job and no travel experience, which is a huge red flag and ur visa will be refused. Tell your canadian girlfriend to visit you in Nigeria, then you can get married and apply under spouse sponsorship to relocate to Canada. |
| Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by ednut1(m): 7:05pm On Jan 05, 2025 |
Forummaster234:there is a zero chance they will grant you visa with this profile. Tell your girlfriend to come visit you in Nigeria |
