*FUEL THIEF ON THE LOOSE: Resident Reportedly Steals N58,548 Worth of Fuel In Ado Ekiti*

A shocking incident of fuel theft has been reported in Ado Ekiti, Ekiti State. On January 3, 2025, a customer allegedly filled up his tank with 59.20 liters of fuel, valued at N58,548.40, and sped off without paying.

The victim, an elderly fuel attendant, has been left in debt and distress following the incident. CCTV footage of the theft is available, showing the culprit driving a Honda Accord with plate number GGE576DY.

According to eyewitnesses, the thief reportedly deliberately walked to the gate to widen the opening, facilitating his escape.

The authorities and the public are urged to assist in apprehending the perpetrator and raising awareness about this incident. If you have any information, please contact the authorities immediately.

By the way, this is one of the reasons you’re not supposed to sell any vehicles with your own registered number plate if you resides in Lagos coz this culprit may not have any of his details relating to dat number plates and the tracking will be on the seller of the car that owns the number

The plate number might be fake or stolen from an abandoned car, wahala for the name on the registration undecided undecided
