Imagine ! If a broiler costs 25k ,the ingredients to cook it is also expensive . If I have to spend 30k to cook a pot of stew that won't last 2 days , how much is my salary ?

Just last year I sold mine 1k each as i got tired of buying d feeds to an aboki to move 50

I'm tired ! The whole situation is unimaginable . When I couldn't buy chicken , I priced fish ( Titus) can you imagine only one fish costs 3k !

Quite expected. Worst Christmas I have witnessed. It's well. Couldn't believe I had nothing to eat on Christmas day if not for a neighbor who gave me food. No family either. Loneliness.

Early to mid week December, chicken was sold for 15k and then all of a sudden approaching the Yuletide weeks the price skyrocketed from 15 to 25 and from 25 to 35k?

I don't blame them bro. A bag of chicken feeds go as high as #18,000. One chicken must eat at least 2 bags to full maturity.

Many greedy ppl have ventured into farming especially poultry no thanks to all this yeye seminars promising ppl they can make a kill from all type of animal farming. My church member that I always buy from for 13k suddenly jacked up the price to 20k and was threatening that if it gets to 20th Dec it will go for 25k. I just quietly buy half goat. The meet still full my freezer. The same woman chatted me on Friday that chicken is available for 15k. Na next week I go reply her if she gree 13k I go buy 2 put for fridge.

Why the complaint
When poultry farmers would rather destroy excess/overstock of eggs than sell it off at a cheaper rate. They will do this to prevent the price from dropping. They should do the same thing with the chickens also.

I thank my wife for rearing broiler 15 pieces with my support since June till now i have not buy meat in the market I remember last upper year 2023 I buy a broiler cock 12k and it was not enough This year by God grace I will rear noiler and local fowl somebody have to plan May God make it easy for us in this 2025
