In this report, Olufemi Adediran examined some 2024 prophecies of popular Nigerian pastors and prophets and how many of them went unfulfilled. While looking at the predictions for 2025, some Christian leaders advised preachers to de-emphasise such practicesSource: https://punchng.com/Nigerians-doubt-fresh-predictions-over-2024-failed-prophecies

Prophesies are scam. And the number one propagator of scam prophecies is none other than E. A. Adeboye. That man should just go and join APC instead of pretending to be a 'man of God'. ![]() |

It's very easy to predict that 2025 would be a continuation of 2024. It would be harder for some people and easier for some. Just work hard and ask God to bless your hussle cos Tinubu's government no send anybody. Their mission is to loot the country dry. |

They are just talkatives. Every year they will be predicting to keep their members alive. Tbh, remove money and you'll see that most churches will close, majority are motivated by hunger to become predictors(pastors) and we are tired of them. |

The only difference between myself and all those God of Men is that why I do my own prediction on sportybet to earn my living, they do their own from the pulpit to get more members who will be freely donating money called tithes to them |

If you read for yourself andkhave a better understanding the prophecies came as a warning if some certain conditions were fully meant or not done. Some of the conditions have the potency to avert the prophecies. The fact that an evil agenda is seen does not mean it must happen, if God wants it to happen he wouldn't make known this events. They are far different from predictions sir, be wise and be reasonable. |

Dear friends, do not believe everyone who claims to speak by the Spirit. You must test them to see if the spirit they have comes from God. For there are many false prophets in the world. 1John 4:1 ![]() |

When you even look at these prophecies, you would observe that there are no specificities in them. That being said: are these MOG under compulsion to do this annual ritual of prophesying when we enter the new year, even when it's obvious God didn't speak to them? If God didn't speak to you as a MOG concerning the new year, why not remain silent? Why making mockery of God's name? Even the bible said something like if anyone prophesies and it doesn't come to pass, such person is fake |

I don't hold forte for Adeboye. But I think gis prophecy of major medical breakthroughs last year came to pass. It will take time though to have them here in Nigeria. Lenacapivir was last year( 2 times in a year shot that prevents HIV), Ozempic was last year as well. Major milestones were made in understanding cancer. CRISPR and gene editing tech exploded massively last year. We are talking about a child born deaf but can now hear because of gene editing. Sickle cell anaemia, delaying menopause among others are things that medical science in 2024 became pretty confident solutions have been found. Should I mention Semaglitude? The wonder drug against stroke and heart failure? What about Chantix, the drug that kills the urge to smoke? These are all available in the west. I don't have an exhaustive list. But 2024 saw human medicine approach what can be termed an epoch making era. Here's a link to a Forbes article regarding medical milestones of 2024. Too bad it will take time before these can be available in Nigeria. 5 Of The Most Important Medical Breakthroughs Of 2024 https://www.forbes.com/sites/juergeneckhardt/2024/12/19/five-of-the-most-important-medical-breakthroughs-of-2024/ Lenacapivir is slated for free distribution in 120 countries around the world. I hope Nigeria is included. The battle against HIV prevention is on the cusp of being won. |
