Onewazobia:Project is located off Eket-ibeno highway close to Qua Iboe Terminal recently acquired by Seplat Currently, access road to site yet to be completed. Meaning heavy duty equipment and materials cannot access the area easily. So if you are familiar with projects as such, what do you think is possibly ongoing at the site? |

AntiChristian:Regulation of the downstream sector has been a major hindrance to getting refineries working all along. Sadly, BAT and his apc cronies were among those people who played politics with deregulation mobilising people against the past administration that attempted it. Him and the APC made sure Nigeria ground to a halt paying subsidy under Buhari until the country economic year ran into red and it becomes inevitable that the deregulation happens. With downstream deregulation, investors can now come in with confidence that their investments can be recouped in a free market. Anytime you people praise Tinubu for deregulation, always remember to remind him that he owe Nigerians apology for deceiving them to oppose subsidy while he would later come back to choke the same subsidy into their throat when the economy is very red. Imagine if this deregulation has been done when the economy was more buoyant and oil was selling at higher prices, Nigerians wouldn't have to go through the bitter hardship they go through now. |

sparko1:Dangote solely destroyed the subsidy scam in the sector, so it's not lucrative to import again. Our own government-owned refineries are now beginning to work or blend naphtha because it's not logical to import or keep them moribund for subsidy sake anymore. Tinubu removed subsidy and Dangote came on stream. |
