Immigration policy tanked Canada, and it not about a religious sect.

The US, France and UK got more of muslim population and they doing fine.

Admitting people you not economically ready for and almost everything now comes with stiff competition.

With Trump planning to slam tariff's on their exports, it will only get worse.

The country was doing very fine that they even lacked human resources, but took that quest far too wide that they already started cutting visas. It choked them.

Even if a state like California that has a far bigger economy than Canada admits such count, the economy will tank.

The UK, France, and other countries that have accepted Muslim immigrants are currently facing issues related to their Muslim populations. This is a problem that needs to be addressed, much like getting rid of a disease such as cancer.

This can never happen in Nigeria, because his tribal people would defend him to the end of the earth, no matter how obvious his failures are.

As an Ebira man, when Yahaya Bello was failing miserably in governance and it was clear to everyone who can see, that it was only going to get worse. Yet, my people kept defending him, even though they were working as civil servants and not getting paid as a result of his failure. Even those that got paid, were being paid in percentages. Most of them became beggars. Even at that, they insisted to vote for him for the second time and truly they did. You can't be more stupid that that.

Here we have a president failing in all aspects of governance, but his tribal people have insisted that he is the best thing since slice bread, and they will vote for him come next election.

Tell me, how can this country get better? Only a delusional fool thinks there's any hope for a country where its citizens put tribal sentiments ahead of the general good of the whole country.

I benefited from his immigration policies. But in the last 3 years he has been making one blunder or the other. Too much focus in lgbtq, uncontrolled immigration, taxing us for climate change, refusing to support investment in certain industries due to climate change, not acting fast to stop manipulation of housing market , sending billions to Ukraine for the war with Russia etc. Good bye sir 😪

The heat was simply too much for the young man. The pressure just became unbearable. Congratulations to the anti-immigration opposition party as they may likely win the next election. Canada is set to tighten immigration rules. The bar for PR is going to be out of reach of many. I foresee lots of international students returning back to their respective home countries after their studies as their wont be any PR.
