If the International oil companies IOC extract and distribute the crude oil, it will be at an international price. Then Nigerian government should start supporting Indigenous oil companies.
Would the indigenous oil companies sell the crude oil at lower price?

So it's not logical to ask why a contract bypasses all processes of the constitution and law right?

Well done.

The Nigerian government owns 60% of the crude oil extracted by the indigenous; if the oil is extracted in Naira, it can be sold in Naira at an affordable rate

The Constitution states that no monies shall be expended by govt without prior appropriation by the NASS. Further the Bureau of Public Procurement Act requires competitive tender and bidding ahead of selection of contractors. Neither of these were complied with. He just woke up suddenly and gave that sort of contract to his personal friend.

To those who say its allowed to award a contract to a friend, perhaps they should know that that friend is also a convict. He has been convicted in both the US and Switzerland of serious financial malpractices.

So what does this picture paint?

PS: Seyi Tinubu was also in the picture as a business associate of said Chagouri family.

What are the billionaires from the south doing with their money? The northern ones are taking over the refining sector of the petroleum industry. I think this is a game plan from the north.

It's obvious you are a learner.

All operations in oil industry is priced and paid in dollars.

If the government and indigenous oil companies sell crude in naria, how would they pay for services, equipments and other requirements that are sold in dollar?

Do you think those oil equipments are sold or produced in Nigeria?
