NO referendum was conducted in 1967 to include the non-Igbos in the secession and Non has been conducted now and some of you Igbo people have redrawn the map to include these ethnic groups into an imaginary 40 States structure.

This is what happened in on May 30, 1967 when non-Igbos of the Old Eastern region were forced into a secession state by Colonel Emeka Ojukwu (rtd). This is the reason why the so-called "biafra" FAILED woefully right from the start in 1967 because the Ijaws, Efiks, Ibibios, Annangs, Ogonis, and other ethnicities in the newly created Mid-West State such as the Binis, Esans, Urhobos, Isokos, Etsakos, etc, also came to HATE Igbos and mobilized themselves by voluntarily joining the Nigerian Armed Forces during the Nigerian Civil War to liberate themselves from bondage due to the ill-advised Mid West invasion of 1967!

Several Niger Deltans in the Old Eastern region and the Mid West rallied round Nigerian Federal troops to defend their ncestral home lands against the aggression of a section of Igbos who crossed over from the Eastern banks of River Niger during the Nigerian Civil War (of 2 years and 6 months) from July 1967 to January 1970. Familiarity with real history NOT the illiterate or semi-literate ipob criminal propaganda you are all pushing online and offline will save Igbos from a major backlash like it happened during the Nigerian Civil War.
