Can you please help me review this quotation for the German floor foundation? I wasn't expecting this to be more than 1.5m.

The price of granite depend on your location. Even in Lagos price vary. But 1million for 30ton is way too high anyway. Mainland should be around 380-410k for 20ton

Your location is most likely far away from Southwest where there are quarries, l paid averagely 540k per 30tons multiple times for Lagos delivery.

2. 2by4—200pcs—#1,400 = #280,000
3. 3by2 —650pcs—#1,100 =#715,000
4. 2by6—480pcs—#2,500 = #1,200,000
5. 2by2—180pcs—#1,000 = #180,000
6. Nail 4 inch—2bags—#28,000 = #56,000
7. Nail 3inch—3bags—#28,000 = #74,000
8. Nail 2½ inch—1bag—#28,000 = #28,000
9. Transportation — #50,000
10. Total = #2,783,000

The workmanship is not included yet.

Assist me to peruse the above quotation. The building is a 4-bedroom bungalow. The length is 43ft by 72ft according to him. Also, he said the height of the kingpost is 22ft.

Most of the granite is sourced from Odukpani/Akampa

Yeah, my location is in Akwa Ibom and mostly all the granites, stones here are brought from Akampa/Odukpani (The transportation alone plus clearance, permit & levies etc makes it more expensive)

Why would you choose to buy granite from Akamkpa to Akwa Ibom when Calabar Itu road is un passable. The truck could spend a week on that road. A distance that normally is less than 1 hour 30 mins. Buying from Ebonyi should have been easier and cheaper. We bought for #700k the last time.

All granite used in Akwa Ibom state are brought from Akamkpa, there’s no quarry in Akwa Ibom.

So that’s the option available here….. Granite are gotten within 3-4 days based on booking

The builder quotes the following materials:

1. Rings triangle—7dozen, 4k per dozen = #28,000
2. 12mm TMT 20 length —#12k×20= #240,000
3. 10mm TMT 6 length — #8500 ×6= #51,000
4. 1/4 rod 18 length —#1600×18=#28,800
5. Sharp sand—#100,000
6. Granite— 15tonnes=#180,000
7. Cement 45bags—10,000×45=#450000
8. Bamboo 50 pcs—1000 per one= #50,000
9. Workmanship #380,000

Total= #1,507,800

Please, help me check the quote if they're not artificially inflated. Also, if the labour cost(workmanship fee) is moderate we can negotiate further.

I'm not a building professional though but I sense that the building design is as a result of the shape/size of your land. However, you may ask your architect to still review the plan especially the portions I marked red (window protrusions and dinning wall) whether they are necessary.
Regarding your request, @ Saydfact use to be very helpful in this area but noticed he's been inactive on this forum for some while, I only hope all's well with him. Better still, get a BOQ from a professional.

I think this is not for PRECAST FACIAL (PARAPET) but rather IN-SITU CONCRETE FACIAL - Has the work been done?

First you need to know the size of your building. Dont just listen to what the carpenter/bricklayer say take a measuring tape and measure the building by yourself and verify the price of the wood by yourself. Ask the carpenter the type of wood he’s getting for you. Then come back here

Can I see the plan or the picture of the building and did it have parapet or not,and where’s the site located so I can give you the best quotation ever with warranty.
