Without properal evidence to prove they are in a real relationship the spouses sponsorship application would also be rejected. They need lots of evidence to prove they are in a real relationship.if possible get your spouse pregnant when she visits that's the best way to prove you are in a marriage and other marriage evidence... I know people who are in real marriages and there application are also rejected.. orjohn24: |

Hi everyone, I applied for a Canadian visit visa but was unable to complete the biometrics within the required 30-day period. I visited the VFS in Abuja and was informed that the deadline has passed. Could anyone advise me on the next steps? Has anyone successfully resolved a similar issue? Thank you for your guidance! |

Hello everyone, My study visa was rejected twice last year and I’m thinking of applying for VV because my husband is already in Canada. Is this a wise move? Hope it won’t seem like I’m desperate cos my study visa was rejected last month? I’ve already paid my fees so I’m thinking of deferring till September or January while I process my visitor visa and hopefully when I get there I will reapply for a study visa. Does this make sense please? |

Good day house. I have reapplied for Canada VV after retuning from my UK trip. The main reason given in my GCM note is that I did not provide enough supporting evidence. I have done that in this application. While I wait, I am thinking of applying for a US VV. I don't know if it will affect my application for US and that of canada. I know they share information. What do you advise. The canada application takes a long time. |

The 10m transfer from the MFB may have affected you. Also how many years have you been working considering you raised about 20m Naira with less than 500k salary without added document of other business income or property investment. Those VO guys they vex. GCMS note should give you more insight. You may think your profile is solid but if they convert your salary to CAD, even a sec school student earns that in Canada in a week or less so you have to do beyond your job. Our earning power is too low in this country. Sholzyy: |

Jeboy:Been working over 8 years but joined my present company in 2022. I explained the money in the account including monthly transfers of my salary from Gtb , investments and other payments in the account. |
| Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by flowmama: 5:59pm On Jan 08, 2025 |
Sholzyy:Sir, Think about it critically. Does it make sense to spend 10 million naira—equivalent to 20 months of your salary—just for a visit to Canada, only to return to Nigeria and hustle to earn it back? Also, did you explain how you got that money moved from microfinance to your commercial Bank? |
| Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by Sholzyy: 7:04pm On Jan 08, 2025 |
flowmama:I had N29M+ in my account… only transferred N10M into my Gtbank account and presented both accounts statements. It’s an invitation in which the person inviting me has stated that she will take care of accommodation and feeding. Yes I explained everything . Infact It was a document on its own. That’s what I kuku Dey use for my other applications. By the way I’m a ‘she’ o lol… thanks much |

shyle02:If you're unable to give your biometrics before your biometrics instructions letter expires, use the web form to contact IRCC and state the reason why you are unable to do it within the 30-day timeframe or why you need more time. For instance, one can give a reason like family medical emergency or job training. Make sure to upload the "biometrics instructions letter." You can also send an email to IRCC offices in Nigeria. State the reason and make sure to attach copy of the biometric instructions letter. Lagos.immigration@international.gc.ca abuja@international.gc.ca |

Just wait for the GCMS note then, it may be that you missed out on some detailed information like pay slip or personal tax. Sholzyy: |
| Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by oluayebenz: 11:17pm On Jan 08, 2025 |
Jeboy:He did not missed out anything.... IRCC dey vex, even if qualified with documentations he will still be refused. The only way to qualified for a Canadian visa is to have a valid US visa or be over 60 yrs old |

Ashirioluwa:Pls bro what about someone that applied for conference on 4th September last year that's going for conference in Canada this January 15th, how do she raise a webform to remind them that her conference is fast approaching on January? |
| Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by divine128: 1:10am On Jan 09, 2025 |
Ndubestjude:If you send a web form they will tell you it’s wetin the processing time,it only if you have a US visit it would be faster, you would have applied 6/7 months before the conference on January 15 |
| Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by Ashirioluwa: 3:27am On Jan 09, 2025 |
Ndubestjude:I don’t think writing them will make any impact since your application is still within the normal processing time frame. Currently, the processing time is within 164 days after applicants biometric information has been updated. If you don’t hear from them by February 15, then you can contact them. |

Hi everyone. Please what should I carry along to VFS for biometrics capturing? Also, please do you have any tips to ensure I finish quickly and leave there early? The person going is over 60 years old, would this help to reduce the time the person would spend at VFS? Thank you very much!!! |

Come on dont make it look like an impossible task, people get visit visa approved to visit student and working relative on Canada temporal permits, attend student graduations, visit to friends/relatives that are PR/Citizens etc. Even though we know US Visa makes it a lot easier but all of us cannot have US Visa. Example is the post above. oluayebenz: |

Hi Fam, can someone please advice me which Platform is better between Ircc new portal or the Gckey portal.. this is my first time applying for a visitors visa to support my wife who is sick in Canada and also visit our new born child who is Canadian. I was given an Invitation from the Hospital and also from Social service Canada to quickly come. Do I stand a good chance considering the high rejection rate? Any advice will be appreciated. We have a bank balance about $6k but a 5 months cash flow of over $100k. I read where they said the New ircc portal is more of IA, so wondering if that will affect my chances since it's not viewed by human. |
