Yes that is True but today's Ibadan and Abeokuta population exploded due to the Fulani Jihad though Ilaje Ijebu Awori were already on the Coast
For example Badagry on the coast was already under Oyo but because of the Jihad more Oyo migrated towards there
Onikoyi Of Ikoyi Lagos was an Eso of Oyo.

As at that time,the place wasn't called Arochukwu,it was called Ibom from where "Akwa Ibom" as a state derived her name from upon it's creation.

Akwa Ibom is large and dont lack land.

It's a boundary dispute between Abia and Cross river state. Akwa Ibom is not involved here.
Besides, it's not a land grab problem for expansion but for a resource found in the said land. You know how it goes with issues like that.
