Why are you taking it personal, You must be one of those greedy Nigerian.
I have a right to charge whatever I want to charge for a product that requires I pay costs that are forever changing to the upside. Yesterday I milled feed with maize costing N750 per kg. Last year at this time, it was N390 per kg. What happens when it gets to March/April which coincidentally is the Ramadan fasting month that ends with Eid-El-Fitri, followed by Easter two weeks later when chickens and therefore feed are in high demand? Is it when maize is N1000 per kg that I should bring prices down, when workers are also demanding higher wages?

That's why I asked that fellow if he has ever paid anyone salary in his life, and the same goes for you since you clearly have no brains to know about a business whose cost of goods sold (CGOS) is nearly 80%.

If you cannot afford to eat chicken, please there are other protein sources: fish, rats, snake meat, frogs, etc. Insects too. Make your shift and move on.

from experience abj to ibadan is quite a distance and we may have to use dhl to tranport it as opposed to public car parks or interstate travel, dhl is cheaper

From experience, interstate travel is full of agbero drivers and conductors and touts and they will add a lot to the transportation fee which would negate the cheap cost of the feed at 11,500 per bag

Please message us on whatsapp

We are getting unprecedented demand for orders as we speak

With the current price of maize per kg? Do you know how much the ingredients cost now? A bag of wheat bran now goes for 16,500. Even soya bean meal (SBM) now goes for 1200 per kg.

Unless there are other local materials that can serve as cheaper alternatives that can be found, feed formulation is not really that cheaper an alternative.
There are alternatives to soya meal and maize our only uses it

Ingredients for feed is expensive because the demand for ingredients for feed is high
This is the major impression of yours that I want to correct. Where did you see high demands for goods and services in Nigeria under Tinubu. Sellers are complaining low sales, low patronage. Even during Ileya festival, there was report here where rams sellers were complaining of low patronage.
The high cost of materials in Nigeria has nothing to do with high demands at the moment because markets are dull everywhere.

Bottom line.
Innovate or go Extinct
Nothing to innovate. When business environment is too harsh, businesses will start dying as we're seeing currently. No any other way to look at it. Governments in countries like USA that are supporting businesses know what they are doing

You get akamu brain. I can show you payment I received for a supply of chickens several times last year from a high net worth individual to support his giveaway programs as part of his philanthropy.

Can you even rent a room in Barbados my base? You can't even afford Lag-Abuja ticket. How can you pay for a BA ticket from Grantley Adams to London Heathrow, 9 hours flight?

Them Neva see anything. Yh things are hard but Nigerians re wicked. Now it's festive season and all d poultry farmers add money for their chicken.
I can't imagine dat I will witness Chicken selling as high as 25/30k?
Our leaders re cruel bt we re heartless.
The opposition party needs to buckle up. This country needs to be saved from d hands of Tinubu nd his gang of Alibabas
You are just ignorant do you know about the increase in price of day old chicks, price of feed, price of bag of charcoal, even saw dust that is waste the smallest bag was sold for 1,500.
The farmers didn't just decide to add money.
The chicken you saw for 25, 30k were kept for 3 months. I kept mine for 2 months and sold at 13,15k.
Do you know what it takes to feed a 2 moth old chicken till 3 months and ensure they don't lose weight? The farmer would have spent over 20k
Don't blame the farmers...

Stop this your hatred towards the poor farmers please.
There is no point in trying to sell at a high price if the cost of production is low.
The cost of production is extremely too high these days and it affects all the sections of the economy.
Starting from the cost of a day-old chick to the cost of drugs and feeding everything is expensive now. Even common wood shavings farmers will have to buy at exorbitant prices these days.
Please direct your anger towards the people managing our economy, not the farmers who are victims of the mismanagement of the economy just like you.
