Experts in the house, please critique this plan for me.

I am not an architect. But I think the dining position is wrong. The dining shouldn't be located closest to the living room entrance door. Do visitors have to eat before they are welcomed? Is it not after welcoming them that you decide to offer them food and they will decide whether to eat or not?

I understand that changing the dining position will warrant changing the kitchen position. The lobby, the toilet and the laundry can collectively switch positions with the kitchen and the store.

Or, the bedroom towards the back on the same wing can come forward and the kitchen will go back. The distance between the current position of that bedroom and the parlour is not too far for someone who wants to take food from the kitchen to the parlour. This option will also help to curtail the rate at which food aroma from the kitchen disturbs or distracts visitors in the parlour.

Like I said earlier, I'm not an architect. But this is my opinion.
