Ukraine is right to want to protect themselves from Russia and Putin by joining NATO.

Putin is right for NOT wanting anymore NATO bases surrounding his country.

I sympathise with BOTH sides and think both sides are waging a JUST war.

Most people who support Ukraine do so because Ukraine is the clear UNDERDOG while Russia is the POWERFUL aggressor.

I remember people calling me western asslicker for opposing the invasion of Ukraine, the same people later labelled me a terrorist sympathizer for speaking out against the genocide in Gaza, now they have turned around again to support this madman, calling me a Muslim and gay for opposing trump and his gang of criminals

It's always good to stand for the truth and what is right.

I want Russia-Ukraine war to end as soon as possible, Putin should withdraw his troops from Ukraine and Ukraine on the other hand should stay away from NATO

Unfortunately, the problem isn't Ukraine but
1. Russia who invaded Ukraine in 2014 and took Cremia. Up till this , no one in Ukraine wanted to join NATO
2. USA, who used coercive force to make Ukraine give up her Nuclear arsenal with a promise to protect her from external aggression with the Budapest Accord. Unfortunately, the two guarantees for the agreement failed.
3. United Nations, who pretended that Cremia was not militarily occupied in 2014 by Putin. If the whole world had prevented this, the new invasion would not have happened.


Now , Finland and Sweden have joined NATO because of the aggressive behaviours of Russia. What excuse remains for Ukraine.

Solution:
If Ukraine will not join NATO, she must be allowed to "re-aquire" her Nuclear arsenal and not only this, to build it to its former size.

And no one should complain of Nuclear proliferation.

And after that, Ukraine may by the use of force re-aquire her lost territories from Putin!

Part of the Budapest agreement was that in exchange for Ukraine giving up her Nuclear weapons, BOTH Russia and USA would protect Ukraine against ANY external aggression.

Why should Ukraine not want a more solid Protection like joining NATO or let Ukraine build back her Nuclear Arsenal so that the equation be balanced again!

This are the issues that led to the annexation of Crimea. The Crimean peninsula has for centuries been a staging post for war incussions into Russia. Armies have fought over that territory. Napoleon also used the crimea, the same with Hitler in WW2, so that area is strategic for Russian security.
