You think everyone has the same experience in Nigeria right?

You can live a heaven-on-earth experience in Nigeria if you know how.

Do not ever think everyone has exactly same experience in Nigeria. That would be a misnomer.

Without Nigeria, no one will know the likes of; Davido, Tiwa Savage, Tems and the list go on.

You people have a very low opinion of Nigeria.

I will chose to live in Nigeria over the US.
That choice would be down to wealth and influence...!

Many people leaving the country and those living comfortably abroad would rather live in Nigeria if the country were even the way pdp left it in 2015.

Yet, there are poor people abroad, even poorer than Nigerians living in Nigeria, who won't want to live anywhere else other than their home nations even for more money.

I have said it time and again, that if insecurity wasn't as bad as it became under Buhari, up to half of those that have migrated, would still be here.

You are right. it is always good to migrate and return. For me, Lagos is still relatively safe in a gated community on the island and, I do not have to go to work. With my own online work, I have my own solar, home with no need to pay rent, earn dollars in Nigeria and still travel out occasionally. It beats living abroad anyday any time.

My previous experience before leaving Nigeria was stressful as I had to commute and work in a physical location, enter the traffic, earn in Naira.
Re: I Wish I Was Nigerian — Candace Owens by RhinoChest: 11:43pm On Jan 08, 2025
She looks very Nigerian. She doesn’t need to do that ancestry DNA. U could tell by looking at her that her ancestors are from Nigeria.

I however do disagree with her strong stance , particularly her staunch support for Trump and crazy MAGA.

Exactly... You said it all.

Once security improves massively, no smart person earning well especially in Dollars will want to leave Nigeria.

It won't even make any sense starting all over abroad.

Nigeria, great country, giant of Africa. Last year, we recorded the highest diaspora remittances. Nigerians in diaspora aka IJGB came home for detty December. People all over the world are proud identifying with Nigeria but some few inconsequential noisemakers wake up daily with negative energy, hating their own country. Nigeria will never bow nor succumb to your online mob mentality. If you don't like our great country, you're free to relocate to Somalia or Yemen.

After God, na Tinubu 💪 God bless Nigeria
Always learn to think things through before rushing to conclude!

Candace is trying to exploit the Goodwill of millions of Nigerians on the SM so as to increase her social media following, duh!!

So You mean you don't know that even Americans hate America?Millions of them!
As do Saudis to Saudi Arabia? Chinese to China?Ghanians to Ghana? And so on...?

You think it's only Nigerians that are DISSATISFIED with their own countrieshuh!!

Well, just so you know, many citizens of different countries "hate" their conutries due to many different reasons; there's no perfect country anywhere and human needs are insatiable.

Anyways,Nigeria's case is terrible!! You should expect it not to be loved by many Nigerians: Imagine a country so enormously endowed but can be likened to a failed state; endemic poverty getting worse everyday,Bandits and kidnappers conniving with security agents to wreck havoc on a daily basis, sick people dying due to quack medical personnel and facilities....and so on. All due to CORRUPTION,MEDIOCRITY and Nepotism enabled by misguided voters and followers....like you, perhaps...who the politicians knows how to PRESStheirmumuBUTTON of tribalism and pecuniary gains...

And you expect Nigerians NOT to complain??

Tinubu is really PRESSing your BUTTON bro..

Allow people vent out their dissatisfactions against the failings of the country except if you've gone blind, deaf and dumb to the true situation of things to the common man

All this hyping makes Tinubu feels like he is performing. I won't mind being a tree in America as to being a human in Nigeria.

With all the money, social life is practically dead here. It's good for visits in the summer and back in Lagos. One just has to be careful in Lagos. Raising kids is also best in Naija. Kids are turning black Americans already and Its not a good thing.

I was away abroad when my mom died, I was told she had my picture on her death bed. I will never get over that as long as I live. Its good to be near siblings and family members. These people are going to take the kids with their cultures while not fully accepting them and I cannot let that happen.

But her Idol, Trump and his cronies want less Naija immigrants??
He likes Naija doctors, but she was almost a high school drop out. She enrolled in college to get easy chopping money thru FAFSA and later dropped out?
She chose the easy life of marrying oyibo, denying systemic and institutional racism in order to appeal to core white Republicans??
Abegi, find another format

That is the risk I have carefully evaluated and willing to take to be honest . I can always come back for medical checks as I still have an office here with two staffs.

I will try to eat healthy and take care of myself . Do regular proactive medical check ups.

I believe my siblings in Nigeria are more healthier than I am. Here, the windows are always locked and we breath recycled air, nothing fresh, food is tampered with, its all gmo and excess sugar, there is no life except when I travel as I am always working, no much sunlight and I have to consume vitamin D a lot. For 5 months, It is cold and snow.

Kids are bullied a lot at school, for 10 years, no one e visited my kids at home, they are mostly on the computer except when we travel.
They are seriously excited about Nigeria with lots of cousins .

It is easy to be excited when you are new here but after over almost two decades, the excitement wears off.

At some point, we all die, I wanted to live life on my terms before that time.

I still maintain contact here but ha e good business in Nigeria.

You actually have a point... as long as you stay lucky and Nigeria doesn't happen to you. If, say, you have to sue some corporation or police for some harm done to you, you'd be awarded peanuts or nothing - after spending eternity in court!

Nope. I understand the Nigerian system very well. I will get a topic police and military personal contacts, I will give them something in case I need help.

I have people who have relocated and are doing very great. It is a risky I am willing to take. Things are also cheaper in Nigeria. I pay equivalence of N6m on two houses every months including experience.
You own your home outrightly in Lagos. I have seen extremely wealthy Nigerians who who do not still look happy.

I have had thid plan for the past seven years and was in Nigeria recently.

Here, I left my job for 5months with full pay to develop my company to the level where I am able to make this decision.
I claimed mental and related stress, got notes from the doctors. Lol

She loves Nigeria due to the fact that we still maintain and value our family structure instead of the wayward lifestyle in US where black women are encouraged to be single mothers with a monthly allowance from the government!
A family structure without a father and mother is a recipe for disaster to any child growing up!
