It is pure hypocrisy of the west to tag Nigeria a war torn country when the major funds used by the terrorists comes from outside the country. Who is financing terrorism in africa? Where are they getting equipments from? How do they get the training and are the UN always shouting human rights abuse when nothing is said about the atrocities of the terrorists.
are you saying that nigeria cannot take care of its internal security?

what investigation has the nigerian government done on its own to determine "Who is financing terrorism in africa? Where are they getting equipments from? How do they get the training"?

does Nigeria need the UN to determine these things?
Re: Nigeria To UN: Probe Boko Haram’s Funding, Training by Wallade(m): 10:14am On Jan 09, 2025
I want to agree with the CDS on the need to probe the funding of Boko Haram, I SWAP and terror organization operations in the North of Nigeria.

I can't stop remembering the words of Al Mustapha. He opened that Boko Haram and ISWAP is just a smoke screen, there is some value in the Zambisa Forest that some international actors are stealing and would not want the government of Nigeria to access or control.

That is the reason they fund terrorists to keep control of those resources.

Shame! Shame!! Shame!!! on you. The details of the sponsors given to Nigeria by UAE how far? Even if UN probes and gives you the list, will you do anything? I keep saying it that corruption does not allow nigeria move forward. Go and prosecute the ones given to Nigeria by UAE then UN will take you seriously. Otherwise, go and rest; the UN will just laugh at your hypocrisy

There is nothing bad in calling for international help when confronted with international problem or challenge.

How so?

One thing you guys need to realise is that fighting terrorists is VERY different from conventional warfare.

If terrorists are being remotely funded and armed by foreign powers, you MUST call out those nations.

Make their treachery known to the public.

You have no reason to be quiet about it.

How many of the 25 airports have you visited to know what goes on there?

Where are AirPeace and others flying to if the airports are dormant?

Arrant nonsense.

Nigeria's Army gets a large share of the budget, and the country has over 10 intelligence agencies, yet we cannot identify the source of Boko Haram's funding.

Nigeria needs new leaders who will seek the support of the Israel intelligence agency.

I don't understand..
Didn't UAE or Saudi send you people a list of their sponsors almost 45 names..
Y'all sat on it because the list contained the names of the usual suspects...
When the North is ready to do the needful..
No one will tell them not prod them

Israel is absolutely the LAST country you want in any of this.

That country is responsible for far more evil on this Earth than you can ever know.

Buhari government was sympathetic to terrorists. Notice that terrorism incidence has reduced in North Central Nigeria since Buhari and El-Rufa have moved on.

Buhari Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Isa Pantami was a known Islamist sympathizer

I. Boko Haram and ISWAP Torrorism is not internal security issue, the Police, NSCDC and others handle internal security challenges but when the Army, Airforce and Navy are involved, that is external security challenge. You should know that Boko Haram and ISWAP operate from several countries neighboring Nigeria and within Nigeria. For your information, Zambisa forest extends into three countries including Nigeria.

2. The armed forces and Nigerian intelligence outfits can't share the information they have on terrorists with the whole wolrd, on media or with just any boy like you and I. You know little or nothing about what they know so when they voiced the need for international assistance, they have their reasons. International security is about international cooperation of security and armed forces.

3. If Nigeria doesn't need UN, Nigeria will not be a member of UN. Please read the UN charter so you can have a better understanding.

This is absolutely rubbish.....
Are we saying that the security agencies in Nigeria and this CDS does not know the local sponsors of the Boko Haram who are highly placed in government, both past and present administrations?
And why have they refused to prosecute them in a competent court of law and also publicly publish their names in national dailies?

France and some Western countries are the Chief architect of boko
ok since you are sure of this your allegations, tell us the names of the people in France and west responsible, you people should continue blaming those countries who has no time for Nigeria , Boko Haram match inside your country broad day light and carried hundreds of chibok girls in a convoys through the city, no police or Army response and for many years no rescue or whereabout of those girls , and they did it the second time, so is it foreign countries that stop the Nigeria military also from intercepting the operation, when the Northern Nigeria finally burnt down by Islamic sponsor Terrorists you people eyes go clear , the military fools talking knows who are behind Terrorists but chose to shift responsibility to UN , Wetin concerns UN

I understand, but they say
government is a continuum
, meaning what Buhari did not achieve and his same party government sees it as critical, he can proceed with it. Nothing stops PBAT from getting the list and prosecuting the sponsors if he really wants to win the war against terrorism as proclaimed by his government.
