Akwa-ibom, Cross river, Rivers are referred to as the oil rivers protectorates by the British colonialists. These communities are where majority of palm oil revenues used for the development of eastern region came from. The narrative that palm oil from Abia was used to build PH port was a false and misleading story. Where does that even come from?.
The old Western region as well was a large oil producing region made up of Delta, Edo and Ondo

I don't think any state produces palm oil like Edo State. If you have private players running your oil production business, it means you didn't come to play. Okomu and Presco are the largest palm-oil-producing companies in Nigeria.

Always looking for any opportunity to belittle and drag the Igbo down while promoting your Yoruba! It’s like you can’t think of anything else beyond trolling on Ndigbo and dick measuring!

Where did you hear or read said ‘narrative’ that palm-oil from Aba built Port Harcourt port!? Did Abia even exist as a state when Port Harcourt port was being built? You’re probably confusing palm oil for coal which did contribute to the emergence and economy of early Port Harcourt!

Being a Igbo-hater always looking to attack or denigrate Ndigbo at any given opportunity, i’m sure you were furious seeing three south-east states were mentioned! Even if i have my own doubts as to the accuracy of the report!

OfoIgbo:
All this your bad belle, because God blessed Igbos with abundant gas.

Let me give you a brief history lesson.
In the old Eastern Region, coal was discovered in Enugu and it was used to finance most of the projects then.
Coal money built Portharcourt, Obudu cattle ranch and every other major project easterners had then
.

Enugu people didn't for one day start claiming OUR COAL. They did not make their fellow Igbos feel alienated from the coal revenue, and they definitely did not go alienating the eastern minorities with the OUR COAL mantra.

The little that coal brought in, we all enjoyed and Enugu people did not go selling the east out, to the Fulanis.
Immediately oil was discovered,. Adaka Boro and co started the now known OUR OYEL ranting, alienating everyone and undermining the east by entering into secret conspiracies with Fulani terrorists, which eventually led to Fulanis now controlling Nigeria's oil resources.

For many decades Igbo areas that produced oil were increasingly being ceded to non Igbo states just to financially emasculate the Igbos.
In the entire SE, no meaningful federal presence as Igbos were constantly reminded that they were bringing in nothing to the centre.
Every Igboman remembers.

Today Igbos are gradually getting to know that gas resources has been handed to Ndigbo by God himself.
And you expect them not to scream it from the highest heavens. So far, no Igbo has been considered worthy enough to be the Nigerian president for many decades.

Our gas is a gift from God, and unlike coal, we Igbos will make sure every dime benefits Igboland only.
Some claimed it was palm oil from Abia, some claimed it was coal from Enugu that was used to build PH.
