EmperorCaesar:Wetin concern Igboho with Gwari. Every Malam with him kettle. Before Amalgamation, we used to to have the Northern and southern protectorate and the Lagos whatever. Everybody was living their life until British started their nonsense and bringing everybody together. Its this tax bill that will start the restructuring, let every state generate money and spend it to develop their states. |

EmperorCaesar:The minorities will fare better by joining any of the major tribes that they have close cultural and social ties with. It is better to have one big majority to contend with, than to have three majorities to content with. For example, if Gwari people were to join Hausas in a new country, they could make the case that every 3rd president should come from their tribe. In Nigeria, when some of the major tribes are still waiting for their turn, what chance do they have? If Nigeria can work, fine. But if some people feel it is not working the way they like, then they have every right to leave and every prospect of success on their own or with their co-leavers. Life is meant to be simple. |

Zooposki:That was what the British wanted to do to maintain their hold on Nigeria, and all our founding fathers both Zik, Awo and Sardauna were desperate to take over from the British and do what the British have been doing, that they signed without any thought whatsoever. |

EmperorCaesar:I must be honest with you that I've never thought about this your line of reasoning before and you are very right. I came from a major tribe but it's not fair to divorce a wife of 80 years with kids and grandkids just because you suddenly realized she's not bringing much to the family table as you do. All of us have been part of the entity for ages despite our different levels of contribution and I believe no tribe is superior to others. Although my tribe doesn't have that evil expansionism and land/resources grabbing mentality like the other tribe, we should all consider the impact of this seperatist agenda on the other tribes. America has hundreds of tribes with different religious and cultural backgrounds. We can't just wake up one day and begin to dismantle everything we've built together. We need to consider the minority people. |

EmperorCaesar:The smaller tribes should join the larger tribes of their choice. Nigeria was once divided in SE, SW and North. The country has further been divided into six regions. The Yorubas, Igbos and Hausa should not be allowed to be held back by the smaller tribes. |

SmartyPants:I couldn't have said it any better. The first republic had two major ethnic groups, the Bini and Yoruba. When the Midwest wanted to create their region, they were supported by the Yorubas. One of the road block in Nigeria is the competition between the three major ethnic group polical and regional interest. |

Fiscus105:This thread only exposes how empty the heads of most of you are. You all rush to condemn Igboho as "illiterate". Yet his wisdom and powers of observation means you educated illiterate and losers, with false sense of superiority, miss the most important chapter of his talk, shown below. Talk that every intelligent, exposed, self-made and progressive Nigerians know, in the age of social media and globalisation, only means Igboho is inevitably correct. He has intelligently seen what is coming no negative talk, scaremongering or unprogressive Presidency can deny. So many winners, especially Yorubas, who have gotten to the top in the diaspora yet they are empty and want to go to their homeland, they feel most pride residing in, and transform it spectacular. I know this from direct experience as does Igboho. . Can't speak for others but I know for a fact that many Yorubas are moving silently moping up opportunities, preparing and entrenching themselves in an Africa set to change drastically in the next three decades while dummies like you are still hitting the net speaking emotionally based on ethnocentric bias. Look closely and factually at Tinubu's cabinet and you'd be shocked at the substantial number of diaspora-trained and distinguished technocrats now willingly involved in the administration of Nigeria. Whereas 20 or so years ago they would have remained in the West and turned their backs on Nigeria permanently. Times will overtake, disgrace and shock feudal and empty mumus like you. Keep insulting the messenger while remaining blind to the idea which will inevitably become our reality. Smart folks will prepare for it as Yorubas are doing. Igboho said Yoruba youths, who have gained valuable knowledge and experience from travelling worldwide, are eager to transform the Yoruba nation into a modern, prosperous society similar to that of Europe. |

Senseless one coming from an Empty head. Why not come straight and tell your brother that he is messing this country up. In your inherent cunning nature, you just generalized the failure. If Hausa , Yoruba and Igbo are the major people you know, in the spirit of equity and fairness, why are you NOT asking your people and the Hausas, the reason Igbos are being sidelined ? You expect the tripod called Nigeria to stand with two legs? Wayo is indeed in your blood, all of you. Take it from me, your people will develop nothing if the separation happens . This is a curse . Until you all apologize to Igbo for the atrocities you committed against them during the war, you will never grow above them |

EmperorCaesar:We have hosted regional governance in the past. All the "small groups" you mention existed back then also. Perhaps it is time Nigerians study thoroughly and exhaustively the template that made regional governance a success in the past till the military boys truncated it. |
| Re: Yoruba, Igbo, Others Should Separate If Nigeria Isn’t Working – Sunday Igboho by Biggeststar01: 8:13am On Jan 10, 2025 |
EmperorCaesar:It’s easy to see the only reason you still support Nigeria as one is simply for the interest of your tribe and not for Nigeria. You are still concerned about how your own tribe will survive without this contraption, or maybe your tribe is among the major tribes that has access to high ranking political offices at the moment so this gives you a false sense of superiority and you prefer this to separation, and that’s the point. People like you who champion one Nigeria are less concerned about Nigeria as unit and more concerned about your personal or tribal interests. And this is the reason Nigeria doesn’t work. The people fighting or “begging” for united Nigeria are not encouraging those that are skeptical about it. Please if your response will be full of insults and personal attacks on people, then it’s best not to respond. I don’t have time for that now. |
