I have no problem with destruction of People's properties by Lagos state government, but what I have problem is them destroying people's properties without any prior notice. You just wake up one morning and your house is leveled aground without any form of compensation. The same modus operandi the emperor of Obio Akpor is using in Abuja. Lagos Govt provided documents for the settlement with the lawyer representing the church. Now, the church says the lawyer was not supposed to represent the church. Someone is lying, and the lawyer should be debarred. I also feel the church may be pulling a stunt so people won't know they had reached a settlement to close the school and push the kids out. It is hard to know what to believe, but the demolition continued because Lagos Govt had and presented all the documents.

This was why I almost ran through a guy at the Lagos airport on one trips to Lagos, this guy wouldn't allow me breathing space despite the fact I told him I was not interested in buying a property in Lagos, he tried convincing me and I almost slapped him shouting I am not interested, so when I buy tomorrow the government will demolish, everyone around started shouting to go sell his Land to Lagos state government.

Is it that land is so scarce that your government and private sector cannot build factories and mechanized farms in other locations? You cannot destroy religion and have a stable society. Infact, it is the destruction of religion leading to a decay in society. Religion has been corrupted and abused and that is why we are having a surge of moral decadence in society. The moment man is given the impression that morality is an option, society crumbles immediately irrespective of how developed it is.

Part of the building was demolished.... but I'm now hearing if notice was given ... I'm not hearing court papers were filed to prevent the demolition ... I'm not hearing how much was offered and if it were accepted or rejected. Did they notify the parents that the school was set to be demolished?...or they kept that a secret? ... believing it can't happen "because it is a free school?" I would not at all be surprised that they were issued warning and vacate notices. I would really want to know what government project require the land and is the project in progress or about to begin.
