How does increase in telecom tariff reduce inflation: what manner of insolent talk is this?
If it were true that an increase in tariff would reduce inflation then why then would the FG through the NCC not allow their proposed 100% increase stand?

Also this idea of saying an increase in tariff would improve productivity is also a very big obessed lie. These telecom companies have fed over fat and given when the price of fuel was even cheap we still experience serious bad network connection even in metropolitan urban areas and even major cities, how much more what will happen in local areas and communities where even though one sees a Telecom mast, one is not assured that it works!!!!
This people did not increase productivity when fuel was cheap is it now that fuel is expensive that they would increase productivity?
This country is ridiculously become an over burden to stay in....

The Nigerian govt keeps killing and incapacitating businesses and will still collect huge amount of taxes from these businesses. Instead of these businesses to fight that govt should reduce the taxes they collect even when business environment is unbearable, they shift the blame to Nigerians and clamour for increase in tariffs as the solution to bad govt policies . He said after many years of static charges! That's a big lie right there! The charges have never been static, just because they didn't announce those little increments didn't mean that the charges were not being increased. The same thing goes for DISCOs, they would only make announcements when proposed increment is huge but normally, they made steady increments on low key from time to time.
