I have this problem with two visa fee last year the visa fee was paid in November 2023 in GTB, wen I try to use it in August 2024 before the new website am getting an error message that recipe number is not fined I try to chat with they customer care they told me that they are having technical problems, so the problem didn't resolved till this new website avits so I sent them email on LagosNIV@gov and I explained the situation to them, last I got and email from them that I can login to the new website which is avits website but reach time I try to login I get this error message (user not in active ) i try to send them email that am still having an error message ( user not in active) they didn't respond till date... Can I try and chat them up maybe the visa fee can till be use.?. because the visa fee was not use? . And is over a year now !!! Pls your advice counts thanks 🙏

I spoke to a CC agent earlier today and she promised they will send me a link to reactivate the account by CoB today. I am yet to get the link, but once I have it, and it works out, I will be back here to share feedback.

I believe there's a glitch in their system because I was facing the same issues a few weeks ago when I was searching for an interview date and time for my wife, but I was able to pick a date a few days later.

How were you able to pick this please? I’ve been trying to change my parents interview dates from October to July but still nothing till now. It’s been over 3weeks and July dates are still showing in Lagos. Please help 🙏🏾

I am posting this for those who it may help.

7th January 2025 - I paid US visa fee at FBN. Posted the Aventum Number and date of payment same day.
9th January 2025 - Payment reflected on AVITS website and I was able to proceed with booking appointment. Answered all the relevant questions. Eligible for IW. Booked IW appointment for end of February 2025. The earliest date available was 12th February 2025.
I proceeded to OIS Website to book Drop off for same end of February 2025. I paid N57, 400.
The process was seamless.

My question: What is the OIS Drop off payment for? Can the passport be dropped off and picked up by proxy?

is anyone waiting to pick up their passport in general or for H1b? I submitted mine Dec 20, I tracked on the caec site it says 'Application received' - Case Created Dec 23 last update was Dec 27 , anyone with a similar timeline? As of this morning it still reads Application received. My flight back is Jan 17, when i was submitting, it mentioned processing is 2-4 weeks

My dad was unaware of the new visa platform. He went to drop off his document as today is the appointment date for drop off based on the old platform only to be told that the process had changed. He was given the new link to book an appointment on the AVITS portal. I have created an account for him on the AVITS portal but it looks like his profile was migrated and appointment was rescheduled and cancelled. I'm guessing because it was missed but no email was sent to him with the new information. Anyway, my question is do I just go ahead and reschedule or do I create new appointment. The earliest date started from 12th February, 2025 all the way to the end of the month

Is this Abuja or Lagos, how were you able to book an early date like that? My conference is in March but the earliest date I am seeing on the website is June 2025(Abuja). Any advise pls 🙏🙏

It didn't allow me to proceed without payment. Is there a way i could have done it without payment?
I also started the answers with the regular IW question. The only question i saw differently was whether i had all my past visa and passports. I answered yes. It returned with a response of you are qualified for IW.

I can not remember seeing a question that asked for empty or waiver.

After the payment on AVITs you don't need to pay on OIs anynore.

Please at your Annotation question... Which answer did you choose that qualify you for IW please? Is it empty or Waiver because I want to do it for my granny and am scared of losing her IW.. please what do you choose please?

It was Lagos. Appointment started from 12th February, 2025.

It is Lagos. It was IW. I answered the questions and it took me to the calendar and it was February 2025.

Pls house we r in dilemma and I need help.

My mother in law did a Dropbox around August 2024, a mail was sent around Sept for her to come for interview on Oct 10th 2024 but we missed that mail. We saw d mail on 2nd Nov 2024 after we started making attempts to knw what is holding d passport. Since then we have sent countless mails to knw d way forward on how to retrieve d passport but no response yet. Pls wot do we do as she's planned to travel any moment.

Hello All,

Pls does anyone know of any way to get the consulate to respond?
My payment made via GTB and I've not been able to book an appointment on the new portal.
I've emailed the consulate with the V44 subject as they instructed multiple times but there has been no response. The AVITS portal does not allow me book an appointment.

Good morning house, I was able to complete my application for immigrants visa last year with interview schedule for May 2025. Sometimes last year I received a message asking me to migrate to the new site and I've not been able to do that. I need help from past experiences. Thank you.

I Paid yesterday and I have been trying to upload the bank reference no but it takes me back to the page of sign in. At this point I don’t even know if I am putting in the right reference no( I am using the OIS/……)
