Jason has become the stereotypical action hero, playing the same kind of roles over and over again. I really wish he would play other kinds of roles that can showcase his creative skills like he did in 'Spy'. I was shocked he could actually play a comedic character.

i have been seeing people's reaction to this trailer saying Jason Statham is typecast now and he should do other roles and i am baffled cuz which casting director is looking for a male lead in a Rom Com, and seriously thinks Jason Statham? 😩.

He is an action star, and that's all he knows, which is fine, plus he's been doing this over 2 decades whilst becoming of the most bankable actor in the industry.

He's basically at the twilight of his career at this point and he doesn't even have the luxury of picking roles, so he basically takes any role he can get, despite it been dangerously close to the role he has played before.....it is not a crime, so they should allow bro eat.....👍🏿

Matthew McConaughey is looking back at his decision a decade ago to veer away from romantic comedies and take on more dramatic acting roles.

In his new memoir Greenlights, published on Tuesday, the 50-year-old actor recalled wanting a change in his career after starring in many rom-coms during the early 2000s, including The Wedding Planner, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days and Fool's Gold.

"The romantic comedies remained my only consistent box office hits, which made them my only consistent incoming offers," McConaughey wrote, according to IndieWire. "For me personally, I enjoyed being able to give people a nitty-minute breezy romantic getaway from the stress of their lives where they didn't have to think about anything, just watch the boy chase the girl, fall down, then get up and finally get her. It's clear this awards season is mainly about recency bias cos I don't understand how DUNE PART 2 is being shunned everywhere.
I'm hoping the #Oscars correct this ignoble anomaly. The singular best film of the year being unanimously ignored by the Awards body needs serious protest.
I don't know if WB didn't campaign hard enough for this movie cos I don't understand.....but punishment should follow if this atrocious fate continues for DUNE at the Oscars.

It's like this people have personal beef or envy for the guy.

You see my anger with movies like "Anora" and Emilia Pèrez and why i rated them low. They are shallow pretentious movies that are made to con critics and award panels. Dune Part Two was the best cinematic event of last year no cap and yet it is struggling to get recognition over a movie about a Gold digging stripper and a former drug lord with uncountable body count, trying to be woman and becoming a philanthropist, thinking it absolves him/her of his/her sins...

The Oscars will follow the same pattern, so probably best you don't get your hopes up.
