Maybe one day you will realise that Christopher Nkunku is not a striker.
I hope we get a buyer for Nkunku because that boy is lowkey another Havertz or worse sef!

He's an SS. He always plays best in a front two with a striker ahead of him.

If we can't get Gyokeres, we should take Delap this January and loan them Guiu.
But why? Guiu is a seriously good talent we should not be loaning him out. We keep all strikers, even if we are getting Delap.

We are lucky so far we've not had injuries in CF positions.

If Jackson is really such a useless striker, why loan out Guiu instead of him? I think a striking combo of Delap, Nkunku, and Guiu would push us to the top of the table, even without any help from our £250k-a-week loanee who's still figuring out how to shoot, along with Aba Ronaldo and Ben Johnson.
Honestly, I think we should sell Jackson as soon as we get Delap. That way, we can solve all our striking problems in one go!
It may be difficult to sell or loan Jackson to any Epl team. I don't think Ipswich will take him seeing his wastefulness.

I want Guiu to play regularly elsewhere to aid his development, while Jackson battles it out with Delap.

He won't improve rapidly sitting on the bench or doing 10 mins cameos.

He's not doing 10min cameos. He's playing full games in the Conference League after successfully relegating Nkunku to second fiddle.

I expect him to play tomorrow and get more playing time in the league as time goes by. I don't want him joining some nonsense team who will relegate him to the bench, and then his overall form regresses.

In the last 20 years, only Cortoius, Abraham, James, Chalobah, Gallagher, RLC and Mount have gone on loan and returned to command a first team shirt. The loan system is mainly flawed. It destroys more players than it helps.

Jason Cundy: "Whatever you think of Guiu’s age, we’ve seen a lot of him in the Conference League and there’s something in him.

"He works hard, he’s quick and he gets his goals. The reason he now comes on instead of Nkunku is because he’s a better fit for that Jackson role – Nkunku is not that player I’m afraid."

Playing a conference league match every fortnight against Noah and Abraham fc, will do little to his development to top level compared to playing a competitive league match every weekend. That's what helped those you listed above and like those, Guiu is naturally gifted and looks hungry for success.

That some players didn't make it via the loan system, doesn't render it ineffective. We just need to send him to a team that desperately need a striker. He needs to be playing regularly to build his confidence and improve his skills.

Despite this, there's no reason for him to go on loan as yet. If we are buying an Osimhen/Gyokeres profile striker, then one can make that case, but if we are sticking with Delap, then he should stay and slug it out. He stands a better chance making it here, than elsewhere.

No matter what happens, players dip in performance and confidence - especially strikers. Only us have the interest to lift him through that. Other teams will just go splash money on another striker and relegate him to the bench.

I am still hurting from losing Gabriel and Lewis Hall - two players, who would be in the first team by now, had they stayted.

Guiu staying while Delap and Jackson are above on the pecking order, means lesser game time for him. Because Delap will want some assurance before jumping the ship.

Another option is not to sign Delap and gamble with the rest of the season with both Jackson and Guiu, with Insha Allah.

Hands akimbo till the window closes.

Whoever sanctioned the sale of Gabriel and Hall should be investigated asap. There’s nothing normal about the sale of those two players imo.
