A road that is not up to 25km took this government over 5yrs to complete.yet theyre celebrating long overdue success. Imagine the suffering the entire citizenry of that state went through in those years.

Well, it's a good thing to have completed the project, but it took too long.

Ambode completed 1000 roads in just 1 ur of his first tenor. 1000 roads ooo not 1000km of road ooo, 1000 roads, that is to say this road would have taken him less than 3 months to complete but it took our governors years. It's a shame

The Lagos State government with all its money should not be celebrating for constructing such a small road

I drove on this road from Akoka to Ifako Gbagada, it was a smooth ride. Sanwo Olu is trying but he needs to do more on road construction.

It about time we see the budget spend on all these road construction, cause something is telling if we know the exact figure. We would be calling for someone to be probed

But seriously good roads should be as basic as oxygen in the air for Lagos. It irks me that the Governor is commissioning it here and there in a year as advanced 2025, when it is not 1998

There are some major roads that were started by Ambode, Sanwo Olu has not been able to complete the roads till today. I doubt he will be able to complete the roads by 2027 sef

25km ke ... that road is not up to 10km.
Google Map puts the distance as 7km.

Besides, why it took them so many years to complete such a short but important road that leads to Unilag main gate beats me.

Shut up, that road has been messed up since 2011. St finbars all the way to unilag main gate was a pile of pot holes and ditches. I lived in illaje & was schooling in unilag. APC has stayed too long in lagos that simple tins like a 7km road is now celebrated. Tueh!!! It's been long i left ilaje I wonder if the road from BGS to ilaje is still unmotorable

Thank you bro. I like people like you that have sense. See the road quality very poor and it won't last. They also did not expand the road to make it wider which is necessary for such road to accomodate the high traffic passing through it. Come to Abuja and see quality of roads Wike is doing and he delivers in months. I wish it is possible to loan governor, if Lagos state can loan Wike for just 1 year, nobody will recognise Lagos again. Imagine Lagos Badagry Express road that has taken over 17 years and they've not even gone half. Wike has started and finished roads longer and wider projects like that in just a year. Lagos state government should do better now that international community wants to start coming into Lagos to spend detty December. Fix all road infrastructures, improve security and it will be UP Lagos.
