Please I need an apartment close to Victoria Island for a job seeker, looking to start new role in Lagos and relocating.

Budget around 400-450k.

Any area close to VI that won't need more than #1500 for daily transportation

The closer u r to vi or lekki, the higher the rent.


So chose your battle because that ur budget not go get gateman house around VI

This is the dilemma I had when I was in Lagos.

Tp was eating 70% of my pay.

@op as a commenter above said, why not opt for a shared apartment.

If not look for a selfcon around:

> Jakande (lekki the side facing the route to Chevron)
> Oworo/Bariga or somolu. (easy access to many places on the mainland)
> Ebutemeta (somewhat crowded)
> Surulere | Aguda

Or stay in a hostel for now (assuming you are single) and save up for a more standard apartment.

....regarding the hostel, there are many around bariga/somolu/yaba axis.
