Jason has become the stereotypical action hero, playing the same kind of roles over and over again. I really wish he would play other kinds of roles that can showcase his creative skills like he did in 'Spy'. I was shocked he could actually play a comedic character.

Arnold was the star of Kindergatten Cop , which was also an action comedy (mainly comedy with a little bit of action).

i have been seeing people's reaction to this trailer saying Jason Statham is typecast now and he should do other roles and i am baffled cuz which casting director is looking for a male lead in a Rom Com, and seriously thinks Jason Statham? 😩.

He is an action star, and that's all he knows, which is fine, plus he's been doing this over 2 decades whilst becoming of the most bankable actor in the industry.

He's basically at the twilight of his career at this point and he doesn't even have the luxury of picking roles, so he basically takes any role he can get, despite it been dangerously close to the role he has played before.....it is not a crime, so they should allow bro eat.....👍🏿

At least either of EMILIA PEREZ or ANORA don't belong in this list.

It's clear this awards season is mainly about recency bias cos I don't understand how DUNE PART 2 is being shunned everywhere.
I'm hoping the #Oscars correct this ignoble anomaly. The singular best film of the year being unanimously ignored by the Awards body needs serious protest.
I don't know if WB didn't campaign hard enough for this movie cos I don't understand.....but punishment should follow if this atrocious fate continues for DUNE at the Oscars.

It's like this people have personal beef or envy for the guy.

Modified: just remembered the fight Dennis has with AMPAS over picking of his score from Hans Zimmer being originally or not; the Academy might agree with the rest and do him dirty. 😩😤
