Hello great people, I’ve been following this thread all through these past months, and I must admit that I have learnt a lot. Please I have a serious and interesting question on an observation : I have 2 charge controllers, MPPT and PWM With MPPT @ 12:30pm with few loads on it Panel output:182.6Watts The battery voltage indicator reads 13.4Volts but the MPPT controller is reading 14.9Volts suggesting that it understands that the battery is full. But this is not the case. So it reduces the power coming in from my panel and keeps that voltage without any addition for about an hour which is not normal. With PWM and with the same loads on it Panel output: 203.52Watts The battery voltage indicator reads exactly the same as that of the PWM controller and in just about 15-20mins it takes my battery voltage from 13.4V to 14.6V meaning it’s charged to full capacity with the PWM. Please what could be ascertained from this test pls? Thanks in anticipation |

Has anyone noticed how Lifepo4 batteries seems to have flooded the market? Followed a colleague to Alaba for some electrical purchases and couldn't but wonder the various types of Lifepo4 in different names ,shapes and sizes in the market.I hope guys have not started packaging rubbish from China in the name of Lifepo4 cells. |

The packaged rubbish is sure na, they're everywhere in the market. That's why it's very important to follow who know road so one doesn't waste hard earned money on inferior products. omotoda: |

Harmattan is here. How do your panels look? If you are in Lagos they don't look good. Dust has covered them and your production has been degraded / reduced. Your batteries are not getting a full charge. See how I cleaned my panels. You can do the same thing I did. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CCVjVhrPIXw |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by omotoda(m): 9:36am On Jan 12, 2025 |
dayomuritala:The charging profile can't be edited. You can use it for Lithium although you'll need to be mindful of the Low Voltage Discharge (LVD)cut off depending on your Lithium battery profile. This inverter amongst other Indian type inverters cut of voltage at 10.5-10.8v.There are some Lithium batteries now with LVD at 10.8v.I think @linnovo has this Powmr Lithium that should be compatible with your inverter.@Valto to has inverter and LFP combo that you can. ook at. |

dayomuritala:Euronet, transformer based 1.1kva. has settings for lifepo4. Standby consumption of just 12w. 800w peak output.

Guys i need help I just recently installed my solar 5kw battery 5kva inverter 100A solar charge controller 9 panels 450w The battery charges full in the morning before 11-12 but after then, it stops charging until the next day Why is this? How can i solve |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by amicdan(m): 12:35pm On Jan 12, 2025 |
boiz2men:Which brand of charge controller? Check the battery charge recovery settings, till your battery falls below this voltage it won’t charge. |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by omotoda(m): 12:36pm On Jan 12, 2025 |
boiz2men:Do you have load connected? Do you use it? Whatvdo you mean by it stops charging? Once your load is connected do you.mean it does not charge and drains your battery? It would be best to explain further? Is it connected to grid as well? |

To God be the glory, I finally switch to the lifepo4 battery user after 2 years of planning. I now enjoy uninterrupted power supply, run appliances simultaneously (no heavy appliances). Am very sure Nepa self go dey vex on me by now... Still having 120+ units on my prepaid since month of October.
