Traveling to the East have become quite expensive and those managed to make the move are stuck there due to the cost of transport.

How do you manage?
You need to learn how to break the journey and learn to sleep on the way.
If you are scheduled for Sunday travel, start your travel from Friday to cut cost ( those going far like North, etc)

For East instead of paying direct 45k
Take bus from Lagos to Ore 10k
Then take Ore to Onitsha - 7k
Then Onitsha to Enugu - 3k (Total 20k

Coming back the same thing.
Enter Enugu to Upper iweka - 2k
Upper iweka enter Asaba Toll gate 1k
From there enter Ore - 5/6k
From ore taker Lagos 5k

South south
Akwa Ibom/Calabar
Take bus from Lagos to PHn-20k
From PH take Ette Junction -2/3k
Ette you should get Uyo/Eket.
From there you can get Calabar

North
Normal enter Lagos to Kano - 28k
From Kano you can get any other bus

You are welcome

I travelled to umuahia my beloved home town.

It cost me both to and fro #110,250. I didn't go with my car because I only went to spend a week with my parents.

If u are earning say 200k.

Travelling to east or south south is not a child's play...especially the Eastern region.

As in ehn..

For those Traveling to Jos / Niger
Enter Lagos to Ilorin- 7k
From Maraba Park Ilorin to Jos -15/17k
Ilorin to Niger- 10k

For Benue /Jalingo/Yola
Instead of Taraba express/ Dan Pullo direct
You could break the journey and save cost resting your legs (follow the East, Kogi is no joke arm robber wise)

Lagos to Ore
Ore to Onitsha
Onitsha to Benue/ Taraba
From Jalingo you can get Yola or if you are going to Gembu enter Aa Kaakara

Ibechris

Pls next time follow through Port Harcourt
Since they will follow through Uniben road, you might get to Port at 5pm then enter Uyo and Ikot Ekpene and Umahia might see you in the next 2-3hours
And it will definitely be cheaper.

If have mind enter night bus to Port Harcourt and be in Umuahia the next morning

For those going to Abuja and not in a haste

Stopping the journey Halfway at Owo (Ondo State)
Or Okene can also reduce cost.

Lagos to Ondo being 8k
Owo to Abuja could be 7- 8k

Re: Traveling Tinubulation by Psiyohos(op): 12:24pm On Jan 15, 2025
Your best bet would be to enter Aba to Port Harcourt and enter night bus to Lagos
That's if you coming to Lagos

Yea,

Your best route would be to enter
Abuja to Kogi. - 7/8k
At the park enter Kogi to Onitsha 7/10k

Easiest route I think.
