For instance the population of the FCT has gone up since 1999 and yet they have only 2 House of Representatives members why a state like Borno State some LG are virtually empty yet they have House of Representatives members.

Should we not be making changes as time goes on surely it can be static.

Are you saying a town or constituency that has reduced significantly over the years to almost zero like Borno and one that has increased tremendously like FCT should not adjusted accordingly.

House if reps is based on population and not whether an area is a state or not. For instance that town close to Abuja in Nassarawa state should have a higher representation than an empty state that have lost most of her population.

You wrongly assume that the displaced persons have left Borno.

The primary role of inec is to issue voters card and conduct election...

Nothing concerns inec with determining the number of Representatives.

INEC can only collect population data during registration excecise. The data collected can be used to create electoral constituencies!
