Many of you just enjoy lying or showing off on this forum... And I can bet Op is either. As at today, only few people can truly boast of such an income in this country. Most families have combined incomes of less than 500k monthly, yet you don't see them asking such online or offline. They are well adjusted and even thriving. Let me just conclude with this... If a quarter of working and hustling Nigerians earned that kind of money, I sincerely doubt we would have much negative noise in Naija. |

Is 650K a decent income? The answer is what you set for yourself and the lifestyle you have and aspire it to be. For me N650k is really poor given the high inflation rate right now in Nigeria. Nobody should give the man the crap of people are earning way less and managing well, every man has a standard of living he wants and he or she should desire for better. So for me I will tell the man to work harder and smart to get more income to maintain your lifestyle or most importantly improve on it. 650k is really poor! |

That’s less than $400 in a month But you’re doing better than 90% of Nigerians no cap. |

To be frank each time i go out nothing less than 40k will likely go and that’s if i didn’t spend. Things are so expensive right now. Fuel 15k-20k other’s expenses one cannot explain. And day you will spend it will get to 60-100k that depends. Even the babe you carry won’t believe you spend that much but na you know how much left you. |

Teacher70:Change jobs and get better and relevant certifications in the teaching space. Also, look into online teaching services. Most importantly, which subjects do you teach? If you teach either physics, maths or chemistry and earn such an amount, that is not good on you. Change locations if need be. Good luck! |

proeast:Welcome to online discourse in Nigeria where the country starts in Lagos and ends at Abuja. To be fair to them though, that salary bracket is only possible, especially for a bachelor, in Lagos, Abuja and Port-harcourt. In saner climes, if you're earning above minimum wage, you're considered relatively comfortable. This is not true. |
Just cut ur expense....500k is not small money in naija ....just that our leaders are heartless making some expense too high No generator every night ...u won't die If u have kids....DStv subscriptions should be during holidays....they wont die..... If u have a car that u use daily to work that gulps like 10litres per day ....that's roughly 10-11k per day and 220k per month minus Saturday and Sunday outing and servicing cost....Use public transport ..u won't die... Buy satchet water instead of bottle...or check if ur tap water is drinkable...a friend told me he started taking his tap water when he calculated and found his cost on water was 80k month...
I currently earn net 200k every month. Am comfortable with it I live in suburban in Anambra State |

A sensible person with an income of that size will continue to have expenses diminishing not increasing A consistent income will reduce your expenses by half or totally |
