I have met with uncountable Ikwerres that say they are actually Igbos and they know it but it's because of politics that's why they deny it endlessly....

This is why whenever Ikwerres are mentioned in Ijaw meetings I keep saying add Ikwerre-Igbo to their name because those guys are nothing but Igbos.

Even when i led back to Region Bill and I try cut Regions for Nigeria into 8 and submitted to President Tinubu for confirmation I added Anioma Igbos of Delta and Upland Igbos of Rivers into the Igbo Region of which it includes Ikwerre.

You can't force an entire ethnic group to become who they say they are NOT

You guys should leave these people alone.

It’s obvious that everybody will stop dragging them when their oil is used up or becomes a redundancy in the global industrial market.

Oil is gradually but surely becoming useless in developed manufacturing nations. When it’s no longer necessary as a commodity, all of you, both the ones that fight for one Nigeria and the ones that fight for Biafra, will no longer find any use for that ethnic group.

Africans should understand that mineral resources does not determine the prosperity or success of any nation. In fact it has nothing to do with it. As far as I’m concerned, Nigeria’s oil is useless to Nigeria, same will happen in Biafra if you force them into your country.

Let them be.

The silly poster is neither Igbo nor Ikwerre. If the Igbo and the ikwerres truely want peace, I suggest you ignore this thread.

I am beginning to believe Ikwerre are not Igbo.
Even if you put a gun to an Igboman's head, he will not deny anything about himself. If I die today I'll die no more as they said during Biafra.
So based on that alone, I don't believe they are Igbo.

No real ikwerre man will tell you he is Igbo. Stop bringing ikwerre to ridicule. Linguistics classified Ikwerre Language as igboid because of some similarities of up to 25% and indigenous Igbo speakers being more in number than the Ikwerres. If Ikwerres were more in number Igbo language would be classified as Ikwerroid.
