I think this should rest the controversies about who is and who is not Igbo amongst the Ikwerres.....

Some people said they are Ikwerres origined from Benin city....yet they don't answer Osakpolo or Edos...

Others say they are Ikwerres origined from Igbos, and their names sounds like Wike...from Nwa-ike, Amadi, Uche, Okwukwu etc

The funny part of it is that both parties all speak the same language which is similar to the Igbo language, and by no single stretch similar to the Benin language, which yours truly understands and speak too...

But, I am a reasonable man...like king Solomon of the Bible fame...since some gree, others no gree...make we kuku share the whole thing into two:

Choose wisely...

Option 1:
Ikwerres that are Igbo are with H.E Simi fubara; Executive Governor of the oIl rich Rivers state of Nigeria......

Option 2:
Ikwerres that are not Igbo are with W!ke

To implement Igbo hate, the North and West "collectively" punished the entire people of the old Eastern region for the past 60 yrs

Now we accept fate, we want to rebuild our region together with our Igbo brothers, surprisingly, same people now "divisively" know we are not Igbos.

Yes I do agree that I've noticed the Yoruba's have extreme hate for Igbo's and the Igbo's also return the favour.

As an Akwa Ibom man I'm more sympathetic to the Igbo's because I hate injustice. But to say that Akwa Ibom people will want to be joined with the Igbo's is far from the truth. Several elderly people of Akwa Ibom who experienced South Eastern Nigeria first hand have very bad tales of what they passed through in the hands of Igbo's who were in control of almost everything in Akwa Ibom and treated Akwa Ibom people as conquered people in their own lands. Most of such people actually dislike Igbo's. I didn't experience it so I don't share exact same sentiments but I'm wise enough to learn from their experience. I'll prefer a separate country or remain with Nigeria as it is that be a minority with the Igbo's.

I know the next thing will be to tag me as Yoruba for not agreeing with you but that doesn't change the fact that I'm from Akwa Ibom and I actually like the Igbo's generally better than the Yoruba's when it come to political reasoning. But I don't hate on people and don't discriminate based on tribe. I currently have two Igbo tenants (used to also have a Yoruba in the past) and I have 2 Yoruba friends. But by chance I don't happen to have an Igbo friend.

Why always on the side of mischief. Wike says he's not Igbo why would that one be your choice to represent Igbos? You want someone that would further Yoruba interest while working against the Igbos. There's free speech, no one will beat you for saying the truth.
