If the SS and SE have an atom of sense, they should forget their difference and grievances with the SW(at least for now) and throw their support behind Tinubu.

Yes Tinubu did not start on a good note, but if you are a sensible Nigerian, you will see that some of his policies are good for this nation. Also some of his actions have dismantled some cabals holding this country to ransom.

Tinubu have done what some southern presidents haven't done and we all are seeing the reactions from the north.

From all indications, the north might try to make sure those policies didn't work or even try to make sure that Tinubu didn't win second term. And the north can't stop Tinubu second term except if the SE/SS backs them up. All these noise about the north deciding who wins an election is because one or two region in the south is supporting their candidates. The north alone can't deliver a president same way as the south alone can't.

For now, let the south come together and support Tinubu, later we can continue our tribal fight but if we want this country to have a little bit of development and peace, we need Tinubu to complete his presidency and if possible and another southerner with his ideology takes over from him. Somebody like Wike.

Even the southwest where tinubu comes from he doesn't have 100% votes there yet you want him to get 100% votes from the SS and SE and if that doesn't happen you go on full blown tribal bigotry.you guys should grow up and have some sense please.
Come to think of it why should the SS and SE give a corruption advocate 100% support when there are more clean and less corrupt capable Nigerians out there

He doesn't need any weight to win his 2027. His only barrier is to find a suitable and loyal INEC Chairman like Yakubu or retain Yakubu.

Every other instruments for winning is under his control according to APC.

Remember, it's not those that votes that determine the winner but those who COUNT the votes.

As for the OP calling for SE/SS support, my prayer is for Tinubu to be kicked out before noon on the election day. There's nothing he's doing that anyone else cannot do. This country deserves a younger and more creative leader.

I support the idea of Tinubu handing over to another Southerner after his tenure. The best presidents we have had in recent times had come from the South eg Obasanjo, Jonathan, Tinubu. They are more intelligent and strategic.

The audacity of some yorubas can be very annoying. Their brother is running an oduduwa government that favours only them yet he wants others that haven't benefitted anything to support him. To even imagine how he continues to promote anti Igbo sentiments and blackmail with daily propaganda against them makes me so angry.

This is FALSE. No president can change a law backed by an act of parliament. The president will still go through the same route and the lawmakers may or may not resist it.

I have never seen a president reverse such laws since 1999 (correct me if I am wrong). If the lawmakers pass these tax reform bills, it's a done deal. Nobody can reverse it again. It's easier to amend such laws than to reverse it outright.

And what are the things that Tinubu has done that no other southern president has done?

The only thing he has succeeded in doing is becoming the worst president Nigeria has ever had.

There is no southern unity. Tinubu killed it in 2015.

The truth is that the Tinubu regime has no good policies meant to benefit Nigerians, especially the ordinary masses. So the question of the North trying to make sure the policies didn't work is completely irrelevant. What we are seeing are wicked and draconian policies masquerading as reforms, unleashed to inflict untold hardship, hunger, and starvation on the citizens.

South South will, South East wouldn't until he can sonehow co-opt APGA into a union with APC. Hence I believe bringing Bianca on board.

I don't blame President Tinubu for surrounding himself with Ndi Yoruba, they are the ones he trusts for now, until the Peter Obi noise dies down or the APGA thing comes through, he has to be careful who he can trust from ala igbo.

I like what you said, let's fight the Northern cabal first, minimise their influence like everywhere else in West Africa has, then face ourselves squarely.

Seems you're just back from overseas this January. You're not here when the 2023 election was held. Asked them what happened in Rivers State for example.

Do you know that till today, INEC do not "know" the State Returning Officer, let alone producing him. Even at the State level, known or unknown, the RECs are ever ready to announce it as being prepared and sent to them.
