E.g approach Chief Sergeant Awuse the Nye we Eli a proclamation from him will make the whole of Emuhua Igbo. Go to the palace of Rebisi. A proclamation there will make the whole of Rebisi cum Port Harcourt will become Igbo. Go to national assembly sponsor a bill that Ikwerre should be derecognised as an ethnic group. Go to Ogbakor Ikwerre and make your case known.

Other tribes see them as big mu.mu, because at the end they are still Igbos and will be treated unjustly in the region they prefer stay with.

Here's the problem.

Why would an Ikwerre man, force an identy on another Ikwerre man?

It's not about Igbos forcing Ikwerre people to align with the Igbo ancestry, it's actually a division among the Ikwerres, on a unified ethnic identity.

It is a fight between fellow Ikwerre people on whom to align with.
They do have recorded historical roots with the Bini people, however, aside that story of Akalaka, every other thing about the Ikwerre people screams– Igbo.

It's a fight to keep a uniform identity...not Igbos forcing the identity on them.

Don't mind those fools, the real Ikwerres are quietly happy that one of their own emerged as Ohanaeze president but these afonjas have continued to cry more than the bereaved.
