What a dumb post.

Why don’t you send them the exact measurement for how big the facility should be since you are the ‘expert’ in sizing oil industry control departments? Big mouth no sense.

I know its hard for you to understand how you shouldn't need so many seats for that many people monitoring what one person can monitor.

In fact, the computers can monitor the flow of crude oil without anyone watching, since those watching can't exactly fix a disruption from their monitoring station.

But I guess someone has to get the contract to siphon Nigeria's money into their own pocket.

Rome wasn't built a day. Do you have this kind a year back? It's step by step.

It's not everything you lot should be castigating

Unless you are an absolute EXPERT in the oil and gas industry, knowing every single role, activity, and process involved in its operational management, you need to SHUT THE HELL UP, and let those who are QUALIFIED to do that work DO IT.

The one they have done today, instead of you to acknowledge it, you are moaning about it because “it will be outdated in a few years”.

You people are just SICK.

So, one person. Remotely, even, direct to mobile phone, so ghost in the room.

I can just about imagine someone sitting in front of those monitors waiting for the computers to report to them. Guess they can be on Nairaland all day if there's nothing to report.

You can start by not paying for my data.

You said they don't need to monitor the computer, right?

So, who will the computer report to if the pipe lines are vandalized or if the cargoes are being diverted?

I'm assuming you missed out a "who" from the bold.

The computer can report to the ghost by sending an alert, or one person can sit there and monitor it, though it would likely be smarter to fit an alarm that buzzes so that person can be doing something else instead of staring at a computer screen all day.

In fact, I'm now wondering if they intend to hire people to monitor the breakdown of the computer itself too, lol. After all, na Naija.
