Two major music executives I will always give my admiration to is Don Jazzy and Olamide.They are very matured about their talent management.If it was Naira Marley by now boys for don dey intimidate Asake.

I read where Asake said he didn't consult a lawyer to understand the terms of the contract before he jumped on the music opportunity.Which shows how desperate he was for fame.I hope he has killed that desperation because it's very possible he left out of desperation to be independent not minding the structures to be in place to safeguard his music talent and enhance his continued relevance in the business.Because of he doesn't have the right structure ehnnn with his music talent ehnnn portable go shine pass am.

Olamide was more than just a music boss to him he was more like a father to him giving him real advice that actually saved him from disaster especially that his girlfriend.


I wish him well and pray he has the wisdom to do the right thing.

It was always bound to happen.Foreign record labels sign Nigerian artistes and want to sell their brand of music to a mostly white audience.So what do they do?Make the Nigerian artistes look and act like the dregs of other music genres the white audience is used to seeing.Does it work?Maybe but for how long?I have no idea
