So Tinubu returned for the holidays, saw that Obasa was recalcitrant and simply gave the nod that he be impeached as Speaker and..... Voila! It was done.

Is that it?
Yes, that is it. God appoints leaders. Now Tinubu is the one God has appointed. If you no like am, go and remove him. The only Kingmaker that made himself King

Been planning this for some days, but Obasa fell hard. Can't imagine why he thought he was untouchable.

Even his Oga oga knows he's touchable and continues to play his games very strategically across the region and even indirectly affecting his opponents in other parties.

Fools will rope Tinubu in in matter that doesn't concern him
At least you could have easily read a little more before making your childish comment.

Did you not read that Tinubu, the father and leader of the party in Lagos, saw that he was recalcitrant? Do you understand what the word “recalcitrant” means? Or are you now the father and leader of the party in Lagos?

With your unlearned comment, who is the fool here?

Sorry, but you seem to be the fool here.

Tinubu didn't claim Obasa was recalcitrant. It's just the report you're fed with, which was all Fouad's thought. Jagaban might not even have interest in all that's happening in the HOA.

Must they link TINUBU to this.??

Why can't this man allow Lagos to be Independent for once.??

What if its d truth? Its part of political strategy and I dont think there's anything wrong with it especially if its coming from a strong APC stalwart. We need to be BOLD to support decisions taken by our leaders in Yorubaland and stop BEING SCARED of what those nomads from the God-forsaken region will say.

Is Fouad Alade Oki just seeing this? Why didn't he speak when tinubu used Obasa to dethrone ambode? We all knew Obasa was a super fraudulent man, just as all the members of the Lagos House of Assembly are. The difference is that, their cups are not yet full. They too can be used and dumped like tinubu did to obasa.

How the best performing governor after pa jakande in such a short time was removed by Tinubu, using mudashiru obasa to stop funds release for the state's massive projects he embarked on, made me know for sure that karma will visit him someday. After ambode's massive order, I've not seen new Blue BRT buses on Lagos roads again. All those ambode ordered came into the country in batches until the last batch was delivered during the 1st tenure of sanwoolu. Imagine same Obasa querying ambode over those buses as if the latter ate the money, just to find baseless excuses to hack the man.

I'm earnestly praying for seyi to vie for Lagos guber, hoping the news to which obasa sharply reacted, which also led to his impeachment wasn't a mere rumour. Then they'd know we're not fools in Lagos. The trap lagosians set for tinubu over his feud with fashola's second term as governor, when we dared him to remove fashola, will catch him this time. I, just like other lagosians voted sanwoolu at the state level to complete the rail project and embark on the 4th mainland bridge which he later dropped after using it to campaign with 8D images, littering the Lagos TV space in 2023 . We're wiser now.

By the way, news on Obasa's removal has really gladdened the heart of agege people today. They were jubilating as seen on my way from work this evening. They call him mr billboards cos that's all they see every election with no visible development in place. All the state assembly members are same. Desmond Eliot's six-foot plank bridge easily came to mind. They believe once elected, nobody dares touch them.
Abegii

Did Ambode use his personal money, its state money and the buses belong to the state.
Ambode really showed he isn't a politician, just like Simi In rivers , he was just the accountant general that found favour with the political elites and was helped to become governor (abi did Ambode become governor on his own?)
The moment he got to power be began to dismantle the structure that brought him to power to build his own structure
Which isn't a bad thing, all seasoned politicians do it
But In his case he miscalculated
And he did so because he wasn't a politician but a career technocrat
You can't beat them in their own game they brought you in to play now
And they showed him.
Big lessons for ungrateful technocrats who thinks they are wiser than the politicians but can't win elections without their help.

The only currency among politicians is LOYALTY, 100%

Siminalayi Fubara is the next to learn a big lesson in politics . Technocrats ko, techno phone ni

Obasa has been speaker for over a decade. How is his removal generating unnecessary stories and stress? If this was his second year or something, understandable. But the way election losers are taking this news personal is amusing.
